  1. Hmm, are you talking about just cutting them anywhere and welding them together in any sorta design? Or are you going to try and match them up to T5's?
  2. I think your idea is a great one! I don't live in Michigan so I won't be attending, lol But I like how you are inviting the public to come and run what they have. I have been thinking about this that last year myself, clearing an area on my property and tell people to come on out on a saturday or something. I like it
  3. Hmm you said the shop your took your engine too is not Banshee Specific? If that is the case maybe they just went at your cylinders not knowing how to port them... :ermm:
  4. Welcome to the HQ  In regards to your "having to run race gas all the time"...is the engine running some sort of timing as well with that compression? 130PSi doesn't need race fuel, even if the engine is set at +4 you shouldn't have to run race fuel with that compression, IMO.
  5. When I first registered on here back in the day I didn't have a Banshee yet. It was probably a good 3 months later or more before I got my first one. There are a few people on here that don't have banshee's yet. Most are in school and wanting to work during the summer to afford one. It's not cheap once you get one and start to ride :ermm:
  6. Yea just looks like your seal isn't pressed in far enough, should be flush/inwards of the carrier.
  7. Lee has done an amazing job at keeping this site going strong, updating with new features and software which are always cool and well be cool himself about everything. Hope this site isn't too hard on ya Lee
  8. Mounting holes on the sprocket hub aren't worn into an oval?
  9. 32:1 ratio is good and the mostly used ratio out there probably. If there is no smoke I wouldn't be worried at all as long as you are jetted correctly
  10. 32:1/40:1 will be good. And as far as your jetting goes, sounds like you are in a good area. Your jetting will probably actually be pretty dang close I would think.
  11. Wiseco pistons are probably your best bet if you need to replace the top end. And for the size of carbs, your stockers will probably be good for the mods you plan on getting first. Or if you wanted you could get some 28's and then if you plan on doing more engine mods, the 28's will be able to handle that power as well.
  12. Yea that would work  I just took a scriber, stuck it into the seal and pried it a bit until it came out. Put oil around the new one, slid it along the shifter shaft and then used a socket. After that I checked to make sure it was flush with the cases. Good Luck
  13. Welcome to the HQ, and good luck on finding a Banshee  Let the $pending begin
  14. Congrats Marine
  15. Agreed, lol Your husband is a very lucky man  And about GTA4, I really should go pick it up,lol. I've heard so much about it being kick ass and what not :geek:
  16. You could get it done in a weekend if you worked away at it. It doesn't take very long at all to remove everything, specially if you've had it apart once or twice before so you know how things go.
  17. Here are the pics for rigger: Looks good rigger
  18. At least it's a diesel
  19. Oh ok, I'm down near London. Ride mostly open areas and hills...I love my hills
  20. Lookin' Good Mama
  21. Where were you riding on pavement, dirt, etc? Where was the sand dunes you were riding at...was their an altitude and air temperature change? And to be honest, it's sand. You will notice your engine is bogging, etc if you are used to running on pavement because sand is heavy, harder to move...
  22. That link is about relocating the coolant overflow bottle to the front of the frame, behind the front bumper. I myself agree with the guys on here and say run with no bottle. I won't be running mine at all this season, and if anything it'll save weight
  23. I mostly ride on roads, friends properties and gravel pits near my place. I have some pictures of the pits from last year and what not. Where in Ontario are you from?
  24. Ok so I measured my old stock choke tube and believe a 2 5/8" long piece will be good to go in between the two carbs. My interior Diameter of the hose is about 7/32's of an inch, so something maybe even a bit smaller, say 3/16's will probably work as well.
