  1. Nice stickers you have in your beast of a G6 Banshee Chick  What colour does your gauge cluster light up as at night?
  2. Looks like a neat little toy to have
  3. It is a DiPricol gauge. Even when my truck had no XZT+, just a BHAF and 5" straight I could only reach about 10-1100 and that was with stock wastegated boost. Like yea the XZT+ adds some fuel, but I think 29psi cleans it out pretty good. I'm pretty sure I can only peg around 800. When my truck is back running normally I will check again. My fricken MAP sensor keeps going out on me every now and then and so the truck acts like I have dead pedal...agh. So I got to replace the Map Sensor soon, lol. OH and my exhaust manifold is cracked all to crap, so that probably doesn't help at all either. Could be a reason why the probe isn't reading quite right. Having some of the exhaust exiting out of the manifold :ermm: That is quite the Sirius system you have, I've never seen screens like that before
  4. Are you leaning all the way forward and riding out the clutch? Even when my Banshee had pipes, filter, reeds and a clean up port done myself I would pop her up to far and end up loosing the race. And as NJBanshee said, some sort of extended swing arm would help you out a lot.
  5. Looks good!! Def liking the all black  Those headlight guards just aren't working for me though, lol
  6. Looks real good man  I painted my rims myself too last fall and they are still holding up! Good job, get some pics of them mounted on the shee
  7. Very True, and I don't think there is ever really a dumb question. If people are new to a topic, car, engine, quad, whatever. It's always nice to have people that can help you and take you through stuff. Oh and don't be friends with Kaos, he rides a neon pink Banshee :ermm:  jk Kaos is a real nice guy, there are a lot of nice guys around on here
  8. Well the best things you could do for starters is Pipes, Air Filter and Reeds. And then obviously re-jet your carbs for the mods you added. Oh, and have you ridden much with your twist throttle so far?
  9. Nope, Running pre-turbo with my Pyro. All I have on the truck is BHAF, 5" straight and XZT+ for performance. Put it on fuel+ timing and haul on er I get about 800,lol
  10. lol How long were you holding those EGT's for? Hell with 29PSI right now, WOT I can hit 800  lol Yea I know, I just don't really have a spot in my truck where I could mount it
  11. Oh ok, my bad, lol. Warm the bike up on those plugs, then switch to your new plugs and go out for a run!
  12. Pm Sent
  13. Was that a new plug that you ran from 1st -5th/6th? Your plugs should not look like that after one run, that is extremely rich if it is! How did you go about doing your plug chop?
  14. Is this on a Banshee? He has to be running very high gearing to hit 60mph in 3rd, especially with 18's..... And if he is hitting 60mphin 3rd gear, there is no way in hell his engine will be able to pull 6th, maybe even 5th with those mods. But this is all my opinion..not intended to start a fight :geek:
  15. On some of my friends bikes I put the flathead of the screw driver on each end of the link. So instead of it going in the middle, I will start at one pin, then work on the other pin. Almost like "walking" the link out of the chain until it's free enough to remove. Could also try putting the flathead in the middle, "prying" on the link and hitting the pins with a hammer, might help break them free.
  16. What type of parts are you looking for? I was going to say it shouldn't be too hard to find parts, but then I read that there are only 2 of you in your state :geek:
  17. Yea I really like the interiors of the Kenworths. Pete's are nice too don't get me wrong. The only thing I don't like in some older pete's is how the drivers got the seat so far away from the steering wheel and clutch, and the seat is so fricken low. I dunno, I guess im not big on sitting that low that you see the ground like 15' in front of you and having to reach to push the clutch in or turn the steering wheel :ermm: Owell I don't drive for a living, so it don't matter  Oh and I wasn't able to get pics of the new Sterling we had in. The guy came and picked it up today
  18. If we still have the Sterling in our shop I will take some pics of it and the interior. Brand new, has the manual/auto tranny in it (you can pick). Though you will already know that Fire, this is for the other members  I really like those gauges too, driving that truck was really nice...then again I have a thing for Kenworths. But still, gauges are nice LED White background with red needles, mmmm! I don't think this picture does them any justice, they are soo nice and easy to read. From a different Kenworth:
  19. lol yea right now im running about 29psi. Right on, is that a restoration you worked on?
  20. He was a Solo guy...running one truck himself. Was a Kenworth we were installing a wetline on..
  21. Yea pretty much, Like I dunno It's nice to be able to monitor stuff..whether a warning light or a gauge. Like here is a pic of some of the gauges in this truck, there are obviously more around the head console/steering wheel area, but yea: And there are probably a lot of guys out there that will like the new Lonestars. I havn't seen the interiors up close and personal, but they do look pretty nice, IMO. But then again I don't really care about the interior or body because I work on chasis, some engine stuff, suspension, and well everything else other than major engine, body and interior work :geek:
  22. But I have read people going on about how the YFZ A-arms are crap on the banshee, make it ride to stiff or something? What about balljoints if I were to use the YFZ shocks and a-arms? Will Banshee Spindles bolt onto the YFZ arms? Cause if it's not going to cause me much problem to run the YFZ A-Arms, then I could get those off the same friend I'm getting the shocks from. Thanks Again Guys Dinner
  23. So far they are treating me well. I've sat there jumping around on the ends to see how much they bend, stuff like that. I think they would be pretty strong, however I have never hit a tree with them or anything like that *yet*,lol. Maybe if you are rubbing against, scrapping, etc I don't see them being too bad. But like if you are sliding sideways and go right into a tree at 5-10mph then I dunno how they will hold up to be honest, lol. I say you can't go wrong for $89 for a set of these though.
  24. Yea I really like them, so far they have been holding up very well. Thanks Banshe-eman
  25. mm if he is around 6000-8000 ft above sea level, then he could be seeing around 11PSi for Absolute Pressure..
