  1. Geez I'm never going to be able to meet up with you Dave, lol. Once my friends and I know when we are going down, I will let you know so we can work out the sparkies!
  2. I'll talk to my friends and see if they want to go down on that weekend instead of the 4th
  3. Oh come on now Cody.....Can't go around making fun of others peoples rides when you run yours like this...
  4. Some of them used to have overheating issues pretty bad. After a bit of towing down the highway the truck would put itself into limp mode....
  5. As everyone else has said, you will have to get both cylinders ported. That would be like trying to run a drag ported cylinder with someone's dune ported cylinder...just ain't gonna work :yelrotflmao:
  6. Oh ok, was just curious whether it was the LLY model :ermm: Do you have any plans for the truck?
  7. I'm still hoping that my friends still want to go down Would be fun as hell to try out some sand and meet some of you guys
  8. lol well I meant the engine model
  9. It is probably modded yes if it is pulling wheelies into 5th gear. You don't know what else is done to it other than FMF's and K&N? Post some pictures up of the engine, carbs, intake, etc and we might be able to spot some more things for you
  10. What model of Duramax is it?
  11. Like the looks of those fords a hell of a lot better than the new generation, looks real good!! Wheels set that thing off
  12. Well it looks like my friends still want to try and go down for the 4th. So if everything goes good then I should be on the sand for the first time in my life. Hopefully I'll see some of you around. I'm thinking of making another flag that goes under my orange flag that will say "Dinner" on it (if I'm allowed to do that)
  13. Same program that I am on every night  ....Photoshop
  14. That's good you figured it out. What was the problem?
  15. Don't worry, it's tuned like shit, but it will still beat mostly everything out there
  16. Hmm. What are the pins like that the mounted plate rides on like? If those are seized, maybe it is causing them to stick. But then again you said once you crack the line, the piston will retract and act normal for a bit? What does your foot pedal feel like when the brakes are stuck on?
  17. You posted this on exriders... Check your current jetting, more so your pilot, and needle clip position.
  18. What is your elevation and air temp? 200 Main sounds REALLY low for the carbs, especially with pipes and filter. You should probably be at least around a 260+ on the main (depending on elevation and temp). And as far as the pilot goes, you might be lean on that as well. How many turns is your air screw up when you see best performance out of the carb, off idle (while the bike is under load)? And where do you have the needle clip set? Oh, and are the carbs in sink, choke crossover tube in place?
  19. Here is something I threw together.... Just used the colours you mentioned above for a simple design. Also figured that "BansheeHQ" should be on the seat somewhere. And I think it would be cool to be able to add the Person's name, screen name, or a name in general that they would want added on the back of the seat (part facing the rear)... I darkened the picture around the seat so that it's easier to see.
  20. haha  I was waiting for something like that, lol. Now is there a big difference in an aftermarket CDI, say the Dyna? Like how do they work and what do they change? They are fairly expensive are they not?
  21. Nice and Clean for an 85! Looks good, and well done for doing everything yourself
  22. Well LA DE DAH
  23. I like my Knarly's for hard packed dirt so far. They are 20" tires which is nice as well. Don't get me wrong, I can understand what you are saying about the 22" tires for hill climbing. I used to run 22" rears as well and they worked good for hills. However the 6 ply's did get fairly heavy, and if you do a lot of fire road running, etc they will balloon pretty bad and usually shake the crap out of the quad. I too would recommend some sort of 20" tires, and then just change your front and or rear sprocket around. Karnly's:
  24. I have been talking to Jeff the last little while in regards to ordering parts from him, and in one of our convo's he said he will generally get about 75 emails a day, give or take. Especially right now since people are trying to get their rides together. It would be better to call him, and if there is no answer, as said above leave your name and number you can be reached at, and would be nice to give him a time where he would be able to reach you as well.
  25. WannaShee, or whatever the hell your name is. Yamaha Mama is not fat at all, are you jealous that we don't like you, but we like Mama so you have to go and criticize her to make you feel better? And you say all she talks about is herself and her hubby...what is your point? She contributes to the HQ, Her husband contributes as well and they get along great with us. And she actually goes out and rides her YFZ or Banshee (or do I mean YFZ 450 and YFZ 350 :ermm: ). All you do is complain about pictures that are being posted...you must contribute to the site though right, I mean you have 56 posts... Mama is here to stay, she doesn't just show up and bitch about us having certain pictures up, so get over the fact we enjoy her company, and not yours...
