  1. on real weak cylinders your plugs will look rich, testing cold will read a little lower than hot. you what your cylinders to be within a few pounds of each other.
  2. if you have stock pipes i would guess they are just ported cylinders, you need to get some pipes.
  3. best money i ever spent, power comes on sooner pulls harder, revs higher. awesome port work
  4. sounds lean on the main, but off idle will be your pilot, then needle. try lowering your clip 1 or 2 notches.
  5. you need to check your cylinder pressure, I run the 19cc domes at about 1000ft i think, and have 192 psi. I have to run race fuel. at 4200 ft you might be ok. under 155 psi and you should be ok. use a quality comp tester and hold the throttle wide open when you do the test.
  6. Make sure you don't get a 4-stroke powerband, your banshee will slow right down... they also come in pink .
  7. I run the t-6s, they pull sooner and longer on a stock port motor than t-5s, I now have eric gorr's more power everywhere port, and the power is awesome. I haven't tried the t-5s again yet. good luck
  8. with eric gorrs port work the t-6 pipes respond very well, the power is just as he told it would be ,come on sooner pull harder throughout and rev higher. the low end is almost as good as my 250r, and 6th gear pulls real hard now.I'm not going to spend another $500 to pick up a couple hp.
  9. if you know a good machinest you'll have no problem,it will still be welded together just like before.
  10. have you tried cleaning your carbs, make sure all your passeges are clear. I use brake clean and then blow them out with air. something in your carb circuits aren't working together. your pilot seems to big. good luck
  11. I have eric gorrs more power everywhere port,I think that's what he called it. t-6 pipes, all the normal bolt on stuff. the portwork made the most power out of anything.best $250 I spent. the power comes on sooner, pulls harder throughout, and revs higher. nice guy to deal with also, and quick turn around
  12. after you do the adjustment,if you still have problems, it could be a worn clutch basket, or something as simple as you my need a oil change. also a banshee will creep when it's cold untill the oil warms up.
  13. I agree an air leak could cause the stalling.clean your carbs, make sure all the passages are clean, then blow out with air. If it's cold where your at the 320 mains my be a little small.
  14. you say pipes only now, but you'll get the fever. so if you do port your motor, the best money I spent was a eric gorr port $250. have fun with the pipes
  15. anytime you add more air you need to add more fuel.
  16. It comes with a mold and a piece of alumiun.so you'll need a torch or something to melt the alumiun, and then pour it in the mold and let cool 2 hrs, then install.good luck
  17. stock carbs won't help you anywhere over the 2-1 with your setup,I have the 2-1 and I am very happy at the dunes. stock carbs are going to be a pain in the ass.
  18. I had eric gorr (forward motion)port my cylinders, it was the best $250 I spent.I also have the noss head with 19cc domes, also a great mod but not as good as the gorr port work. good luck
  19. I have a eton viper jr that my second son is riding now. only a couple little problems, got the parts from the dealer. my oldest boy is now riding a LEM cayman, no problems with that at all, plus there's a ton of aftermarket parts for it. next summer it's going to rip
  20. did you burn holes in the top of the pistons, that's most common with detination. a lean seizure is usually at the front of the piston at the exhaust. you should always jet the main first, a lean main can be hidden by a fat needle or pilot.
  21. detonation usually will burn a hole in a piston, with 18cc domes you need race fuel. a air leak on the left side could be crank seal, bad or installed wrong, leaking base gasket, carb boot or gaskets. you definitly know one problem is the fuel, find the others before you ride again!!!
  22. I have t-6 pipes and eric gorr port, I was happy with the pipes with stock porting and 10 times happier now. talked to eric about my pipes, he said I wouldn't have a problem with his port and I didn't. if you have $500 to blow maybe get some t-5s, but I would at least try the t-6s first and see what you think yourself. mine runs great. goodluck
  23. first make sure youe have a good ground, make sure your on/off switch is working. next unplug your throttle switch, your tors at carbs and tors control box, also if you have a parking brake switch unplug it also. goodluck
  24. disconnect the cable at the case and see if that arm moves freely back and forth, if it does your cable is sticking, if not it's somewhere between the arm and clutch springs.goodluck
  25. just you, pretty simple to figure out.
