  1. check to msake sure your axle is tight and of ya still have play in that side i would just do it rigght and replace the bearing
  2. V Force 2 nuff said!!
  3. WORD!!!!!
  4. lol this one has me thinkin hard .... i have never had anything come outta my pipes runnin hp2 at 32:1 even .... it sounds like a rightside crank seal, but i wouldnt think a new bike would have a bad seal this soon. but then i have also seen seals go bad in no time at all
  5. Stock pilots are 25's ..... on my 98 when it was stock with fatty's,k&n,20cc cool head,vf2's and no airbox lid it jetted perfect at 280 main, needle 4th clip,27.5 pilot, 1.75 turns on air screw. for 80deg and 800ft .. but its really humid around here tho.
  6. with the mods in ur sig. i would go with a clutch from barnette or ebc they should be fine. just make sure to scuff the steels really good and soak the friction's in oil for about 20 minutes. frome what everyone says fast is a good clutch too. good luck!
  7. would step up to some 100 low lead and run the klotz at 40:1 .. i was runnin 32:1 and switched to 40:1 it smokes less and the throttle response seems better too.
  8. what kind of oil are you runnin .. my barnette slipped really bad with synthetic i changed to hp4 10w40 and its all good now .. but i was havin same prob as you .
  9. i use a little chain lube on the pivot point on mine to keep it from sticking .. i would dremel out the pinch slot on ur shifter to gte more clearance to tighten it up enough. good luck and waitin to run into ya out ridin
  10. ya a arm style torque wrench is more durable ... clicker wrenchs definately dont like to be banged around or droped thats for sure ... i use a snap on and ive had it for years and its always beena good torque wrench
  11. sound like fouled plugs to me ..... what kind of oil are you running and is it possible it could have separated from the fuel and you got a over heavy oil mix and fouled plug out? just a thought
  12. 260's dam that really sounds lean, i think thats what comes recomended for the fatty pipes but with the T-5's ... i would step up to a 30 pilot, 300 main, 4th clip from the blunt end on the needle ..... do a plug reading to see where you are at as far as your jetting
  13. if you install the tors removal kit the throttle will be easier to pull ... less springs for your thumb to work aginst .... but if you just unplug the tors from the throttle, carbs, tors unit it will be disabled and cannot effect the way ur engine runs
  14. i see the trails in the bottoms under old 36 bridge have been gettin riden l8ly, we ride there pretty often. we need to meet up and ride for sure man actually i live in mechanicsburg, we can ride all the way to riverton hehee
  15. i work in the oilfield and man i can honestly say that rotella is some maraculous shit, ive seen diesel's that use 3gal in 24hrs drop to using 1gal in 24hrs. hmmmmm i never thought about using it in my transmission, lol i'm gonna switch next time i change oil and it's free too!
  16. grease the grooves on the tap to keep most of the cuttings from going into the cases .... atleast thats how it's done for a stripped plug hole in a car engine, cause ya still have to tap the hole for the heli-coil. i would flush the cases until you're comfortable that its clean, lol i'd pour atleast a gallon through it or mebe even more lol, it's cheap insurance compared to splittin' cases
  17. that depends on if it's a heater hose T. almost all the newer vehicles have the plastic crap in the heater system, so i would think its all good cause these new cars run hot enough a shee would be fried i would think
  18. whooaaaaaa!!!! loco ur in st. jo huh my oldest son was born in St. Joseph there in st charles haha all mah wifes family live right around there ... have to hook up and ride sum time!!!!
  19. good point rat, i was thinkin they was all around 70 or so ... i got mine in a trade. im gonna grab a ricky stator for the wifes shee then.
  20. the keyway is simpler but the timing plate is a better way to go. prodesign and cascade both make sum sweet timing plates
  21. im runnin the Vito's Fat Bastard's, and a host of Vito's goodies. hey man if ur jetted properly and can ride ..... those 4 poke 450's shouldn't touch ur shee in a drag ... ive got buds that all ride 4 pokes and 1 is a rappy 700, well needless to say they can't hang with my wifes shee. its basicly stock exept for the usuall mods, gotta ride it like Jesse James
  22. barnette is a good clutch .. mine came with 3 sets of springs stock,hd,xhd ... its been a good clutch so far, but next clutch ill be goin with fzr1000 frictions and barnette steels and springs ... 1 hint tho .. do not run anykind of synthetic in the trans cases or itll slip like a whore on ky jelly lol. i run honda hp4 10w40 in my trans and the clutch has held up fin for a year now.
  23. might as well go billet, the stocker at the stealership will be like rapin ur wallet. prodesign, esr, alba, trinity and a host of others sell aftermarket kickers for around 90 or so.
  24. the head or as close as ya can get it to the head will give the most accurate readings. the top radiator hose goes to the head, i would place it ( inline temp gauge) as close as possible to the head
  25. dam that sucks ... i was goin to get the stuff to do it up this weekend. ummm thinl ill wait till i can get one from esr i guess
