  1. got to ride a lt450r yesterday evening. its a really nice handlling quad, best handling off showroom floor in my opinion. But its slow, i mean got no hit at all ... lol then he wanted to run the TT track, and proceeded to talk about the dirtwheels say's shit .... umm needless to say banshee never needed to get outta 4th to beat it, so we traded and he whooped my ass with my own quad. then again its slowpoke .. oops i meant 4poke.

  3. noss machine makes em ... he goes by "dlnoss" on the hq. i hear hq members get a break.
  4. prodesign and the noss are good heads ... but here is food for thought, with the prodesign you have to change the head studs "no biggie", but with the noss it uses stock studs ... both are good but if i go with another head it will be a noss .... 22cc domes are stock .. ya should be able to get away with 20cc domes and run pump gas
  5. if they're chrome use a sos pad and some mothers chome polish ... it'll make new lookin' again.

  8. i'm really curious about the carb sync tool. the way i sync is tedious and time consuming
  9. in runnin ims w/kickup and they work great with my dg nerf's. most comfy peg around.
  10. dam duece i just taught my 6yr old to ride a clutch ... on the 98 shee of course. lol he rides me all over town on it.. just to practice clutchin and takin off. sry guys got off topic
  11. i run a 15/41 too, but i never use 1st gear i always take off in second. but still have to shift like jesse james LOL
  12. well said ..... this is the 3rd season on my engine and it still runs strong as it ever has, attention to detail is everything!!
  13. try setting both airscrews at .5 to 1 turn out then just tweak it for best bottom end 1/8 turn at a time. ride each time and see how it reacts to the changes. be patient and look for best response.
  14. in order to find out where you need to be on the needle. 1st you must get the main dead on .. then run a half throttle plug chop ... adjust your needles accordingly

  16. im runnin a dg grab and fatty's on my 98 it all fits up fine ... DUHH, lol just hadda toss that in for good measure.

  18. ya do your plug chop at WOT ... if you are jetted properly you shouldnt lean out and go boom. lol my banshee gets run at WOT for sum long ass hauls, when a chop the plug i run it at WOT for atleast 15 to 20 seconds .... lol thats a dam site longer than a quarter mile. BTW nice shee
  19. the cleanest motor ive ever took apart ran honda hp2 @ 40:1 ... i run klotz in my shee's but, castor927, golden spectro, belray,amsoil,klotz,hp2 are all exellent premix. change ur plugs and go chop it... see where ur at cause if theyre burnin' black chance's are ur fat. i've jetted a bunch of bikes runnin 927 and they burn fine, a nice perdy tan color.
  20. the new 450's aint runnin with no piped and filtered banshee that is jetted properly ... we hadda 15k contingincy mx race at sfdr last summer, i was playin on the 3/8m oval and well they decided to come out and play ... they all pulled off with thier tales between thier leggs and went to the pits. needless to say the banshee all so slow it is, sent the bitch's packin'.

  23. dont use any silcone on the head to cylinder ... it wont hold, get the gasket and fix it right.
  24. break out the KY cause ur gonna need it by the time the stealership's done. find a friend with a banshee and talk em outta thier coil, swap em and try it. cause if ur carbs are positively clean and your reeds are in good shape and there is good compression .... that only leaves one area left ..... ignition .... do like nyuk said and trim ur wires back to get a better connection
  25. the vforce have 2x the petal area that the tdr on stock cages have. more petal area means better atomization/flow and throttle response. just food for thought!
