look into southfork dirt riders, they're gonna be runnun' like 5 oval races this summer. i ride there so ill grab a schedule and post the number and race dates for ya O, southfork is about 12m from springfield
well i gotz 2.5 years in my time bomb crank!! when it goes ill go with a twister or a TDR. the Vito's super stockshave the windows changed up a bit and the crowns are modified at the exhaust port, yup Vito's said their pistons where manufactured by wiesco to vito's specs. i just got done puttin a set of .020 Super stock's in my wife's 98, ill be doin ythe break in myself tho LOLOLOL
you pretty much have got to have the right crank seal or a case gasket leaking if you are positive that your fuel is mixed properly, there is no way you should be getting trans oil like that. take it back where ya bought it and make em fix it right, it's still under warranty isn't it????
I would try 210 main and 4th clip from the blunt end of the needle, if it plug chops fine, but ya end up with a sluggish midrange go back to the 3rd clip on the needle with a 1/2 step washer under the clip. also run at 1/2 throttle and do a plug chop to see where your at. also make sure your carbs are in sync
uhhhhh if ur shee's gettin whooped by z400's .... either ya can't ride and should sell the shee or its so tired it aint funny and runnin on 1 cylinder. my best friend has a DVX4oo with yoshi 440 engine kit that gust is supposed to be runnin' and well i hadda buy him new rear plastic cause i ripped it off his quad and the shee and dvx were hung like 2 dogs! what a fuckin ?
mine smokes while its cold but after it warms up it mostly clears up, only smokes a trace amount when up to temp. i agree with bigred .. it sounds its ur jetting and oil ratio .... and if oil ratio and jettin and is spot on ya won't load up not a lil bit at idle, even for long periods of time
welp i pressure tested it today and all's good ...
took it out and doine a plug chop -- its a bit on the dark side but still ok .. i gotta say these pipes fuckin run like a scalded assed ape!!!!! theyre pretty loud but man when they hit its like hold the hell on cause were gone!!! also the 4th clip on the needle was a bit fat and went to 3rd clip and well needless to say its pretty well spot on! lol now she just smokes the tires in 3rd and 4th gears on asphalt.
i run my plugs @ .28 and have never had a plug foul. as far as filter cleaner and oil .. i use dawn diish soap and make sure it gets rinsed out very very good, i then spray it down with K@N in the aerosol can making sure to get the whole filter very good. and for gearcase oil i run Honda HP4 - 10w40. i tried the golden spectro 10w40 full synthetic and my cluth slipped like it was fried, changed to the HP4 and it grips like a MOFO!!
I work in the oil fields of illinois .. im a roughneck, driller, roustabout, operator, mechanic, body man too LOL we go from drilling to producing oil wells
i was tearin a 440 magnum in a 70 Charger down for a friend and there was a hole drilled and tapped with a bolt threaded into the #7 piston lmfao i was like OMGWTF OooOoOo get this he drove 130m on the interstate !!
i got my fat bastard's installed with the airbox too, LOL was rough gettin them to clear everything the right pipe hit the cool head so bad i had to shim the front pipe mounts out about 1/2 inch and well lets just say it was a huge process gettin it to all fit up ... and i gotta say these bad boys are some loud ass beeyatches lol but sound great and perform great too, they rev to the moon ! ! ! ! !
im thinkin' it's in the pilot and air screw. it's never done it till i installed the fat bastard's and rejetted. is it possible that the engine is breathing that much better with these pipes over the fatty's?? im thinkin' mebe try and close down the air screws to see if it will make a difference. it does act like the pilot is dead on though, it doesn't even take but half the kicker stroke to get her fired up
well i pulled the stator cover and sprayed a bunch of carb cleaner behind the stator and got no kind of rise in rpm what so ever. well as far as checkin for air leaks like this, it test's out fine ... is it possible that the pilot change could have a effect on the idle with the choke on ???? thanks for all the info
