  1. i got that from the red and green wires that go from the stator to the cdi box btw thanks for the help so far
  2. i'm defiently gonna try to swap one first but i have checked all the grounds throughly, and changed the stator, and coil. and checked all my on/off switches its wierd though when it sparks i get a pretty good fat blue spark. but it only sparks now and then. and the stator gives me easy 10. volts with one solid kick we shall see...
  3. well seems like all my grounds are good i've checked them all i've got continueity to the frame and motor on every ground guess it will be a cdi that fixes this one. since i have already changed the stator, and coil. and checked all the key switches and run switch btw the stator puts out about 10.v a/c with on solid kick to the cdi wiring, does that sound about right
  4. actually i have done everything you just listed. its narrowed down to either a bad cdi or a flywheel i just have to find someone local with a banshee so i can test this cdi
  5. boost bottles are junk. get rid of it. boost bottle caused an airleak on my bike that cost me a engine
  6. thanks... just the answer i was looking for...
  7. where are all the grounds at on a banshee i want to check them all to see if i am missing on or if i just have a bad connection any help appreciated
  8. i just changed stator and coil and now sometimes it will spark and then not spark again for another 20-30 kicks then spark like 5 kicks in a row. my headlights would start to come on sometimes when i would kick it then not do it again. did i buy a bad stator. its brand new with a warranty from ebay. its a rickystator or do i have a bad cdi?
  9. yea i checked everything else and found a bad stator and coil. i just replaced the stator and wanted to make sure i was getting enough volts out of it. now i guess i need to replace the coil
  10. it seems to be in a/c voltage by kicking it over i'm getting about 3 volts at the coil (orange and black wires) does this seem about right?
  11. i'm not getting any light out of the headlights at all i wonder if the pickup coil gap is different on this aftermarket stator?
  12. i have replaced the stator with a new one because it wasn't in specs (ohm'ed it out) still won't spark, i have also ohm'ed the coil and it seems to also be out of spec. i checked the gap on the pickup to flywheel it is about .018 next i'm going to change the coil question is should the headlights come on at all when i kick it over? because i don't see any light coming on at all.
