  1. You need to get a clean ignition signal. I wired in a 4-pin GM HEI module to the stock ignition on my fuel injected Banshee and I get a clean tach signal. Then you can just run a regular MSD shift light with a pill. You can see the module in this pic:
  2. Dave Gibson from East Coast ATV built a couple. Here's some pics:
  3. I'm definitely interested. Give me your phone number and I'll give you a call this weekend so we can work out the details.
  4. Where are you located? I'm about a half hour from ECATV so if your stuff is still there or you live around there than we can avoid shipping. My buddy has a 421 PV Cheetah that we're about to pull out and have drag ported and the powervalves removed, it might be cheaper just to buy your setup and sell the 420. Let me know if you still have everything and maybe we can work something out. Also what reeds are in it?

I run an airshifter on a 420 Cheetah, stock trans with lockout. As long as the pressure is right, you'll never miss a shift. They are definitely fun.
  6. There are so many misconceptions about fuel injection in this thread. Fuel injection is simpler than carbs, period. People are just afraid of fuel injection and don't want to learn how it works so they just say it sucks. A fuel injection system can adapt to different altitudes and weather conditions. It has less arm pump becuase your not moving a slide with springs and there's no sliders that stick open when riding in muddy water. There's less moving parts meaning more reliability. A good fuel injection system can datalog giving feedback for how the bike runs during a race and what the rider is doing. Fuel injection runs off of electronic resistor that rarely ever fail. There's many benefits to fuel injection over carbs, this is why everyone is switching to fuel injection. The only real downside is additional weight and longer starting times. A Carb'd kickstarter bike will most of the time start faster than a fuel injected bike. All I'm saying is have an open mind about changes.
  7. If it does come out, I hope they don't call it a Banshee. It would only have 2 cams unless its a V-motor which I doubt
  8. I think this needs a bump since this there's a race this weekend. Its definitely a badass track
  9. If its taking you this long to just get ahold of him, just imagine how long it will take him to actually do your motor. He probably does a killer job but do you really want to wait all that time when there's other options?
  10. My Banshee with T6's and all the little shit was faster top end than an LTR with an exhaust and cherry bomb. Again, I'm not buying a drag bike, I have my turbo Banshee for that. I think I'm going to end up getting the LTR. And also the LTR has a lower seat and overall height than the YFZ. I guess its all a feel thing
  11. Does anyone know what the new price of these are?
  12. Becuase the LTR was designed as an MX bike?
  13. lol I can't believe people still fall for this Just FYI, the majority of oil imported into the US comes from Canada, not the middle east
  14. I considered the TRX and I wasn't really impressed with it. As for the rims, I was going to get beadlocks right away because I collapse alot of rims.
