  1. Spring cleaning and don't think I need it anymore. Stock frame with all the brackets and silver paint. Used it to check the fit on some parts I made. No title, it wouldn't be worth the cost to try and get one and there not required in Oregon. PM me series inquires only.

  3. Forget the thumb fatigue, How did you take care of the sholder fatigue, leg fatigue and pry your hands off the bars fatigue?
  4. I left the machine work for the a-arms.The ball joints are Yamaha from the YFZ 450. Cotton eyed, we will have to trade jig photos when I finish mine. I made my jig big enough for YFZ 450 arms. The Yfz 450 uses similar parts just laid out different.
  5. I am working on a set right now for myself. Unless your going to make 100 sets there is not much money in making them. I am doing it because nobody makes a set perfect for me. I will post pictures when I am done, but it will be a while. Chrome moly $3 a foot x12 balljoints $25 ea. x4 heims for adjustables $10 ea x4 Tubing bender $156 x1 Your time ? x40+hrs.

    T.O.R.S

Just go to a local shop and ask for some. There is a thousand take offs out there somewhere. They are worth less than the shipping to get them.
  7. Watch out on porting!! Get your port job for how you ride or you may not like it.
  8. They're hard to beat. A lot more ponies from the box. You can use a little more paddle.

    PADDLE TIRES

I run 9 paddle haulers when the sand is hard and put 9 paddle extremes on when it dries out. There is a big difference in my opinion. They would probably be overkill.
  10. Try using a impact gun on the puller. I use a mtion puller with a impact and the flywheels pop right off.
  11. The 8 paddle haulers you can use on your banshee too. I've seen lots of blasters with 8 paddle haulers at the oregon dunes, even rode one.
  12. If it will start and run on both cylinders, run it clean. I've forgot the plugs on the carbs for when I wash my bike and then tried to start it.The engine flooded itself. I had to kick it over with the plugs pulled then put a new set of plugs in. When it started there was raw gas spitting out the silencers but it cleaned out.
  13. I've cut a few. If you cut a stocker it works real well to put a round housing carrier on it.
  14. The larger tire should "float" more. It is really mostly "the look man". I have ran both. I like the solid rib style like dune runners in a 21". They are more weight but they respond faster when you turn the bars.
  15. If you leave your gas on when you park it and everything is working properly than the only bad thing to happen is as it sits the gas evaporates and leaves the oil and gas additives in the carb bowl after a long while your jets will be plugged. A lot of banshee carbs will leak gas past the float needle and start leaking on the floor.
  16. It is normal for some blueing. My wifes t-5 have some and my Paul turners do too. Just make sure your jetting is right, the color of the pipes isn't a good indicator.
  17. Really what your checking with the solder is the piston to head clearance aren't you? I thought "squish" was to squish the air out of between the head and piston to create turbulance so you don't get detonation with a higher compression ratio. Does the banshee even use the squish theory?
  18. To fix the problem with the Wicked Products a-arms I sold a-arms at a loss since the SOB at Wicked wouldn't admit he had the ball joints at to much of a angle. To fix the +2 shocks on my stock a-arms I bought a set of used dual rate works and have been looking at a set of new +2 shocks hanging over my workbench. I am working at building a set of +2 a-arms for those pretty shocks I have been looking at.
  19. Banshees have a big hole between the pegs and fenders. You might consider how your going to deal with it because it dosen't make sense to put nerf bars on and still have a hole to get your foot ran over. I put on Graydon Prolines and customized a set of stock healgaurds on my banshee. If I did it again I would consider the DG so there is something behind the peg.
  20. I had a talk with Works about their shocks a while back. They told me their +2 shock was a 1/4 inch longer than stock and had only 4 inches of travel. Their stock shock is stock length with 4 1/2 inches of travel. Both the +2 and stock Works shock will only allow 9 inches of wheel travel if on the set of a-arms they were built for. I don't agree with what they are doing I would want more travel on a +2 set of a-arms. You may not be able to bolt on a set of +2 shocks on a stock set of a-arms without compressing the shock to get it in the mount. I ran in to this when I bought a set of +2 a-arms from Wicked Products and couldn't get my +2 Works shocks to fit, the problem was the Wicked a-arm ball joints bottomed out before the shock did.
  21. from Orygun, but no don't like Horsefalls I usually ride at Florence.
  22. Overheating depends how you are riding it. The cool head just adds volume to your cooling system. If your heating the coolant faster than your cooling it off it will just slightly take longer to overheat. The same kind of applies to the bigger radiators. You probably won't have a cooling issue if you shave your head if you don't overheat you bike very often now.
  23. Tell us more. Is you rearend all stock?
  24. The raptor axle is about as wide as a blaster. Would work good for dragging.
  25. Is that for real? I think I know whos trying to build it. I ain't beliveing the HP claim til I see the complete engine.
