  4. Where can you find narrow hose clamps in the larger dia.? I haven't searched to hard yet but I want to ditch the stockers.
  5. Other than what you know they look better with less parts to fail or come loose.
  6. Here's a pimp'in one. True that!
  7. Thats how I do it. That is for the axle placement compared to the deck. Take the tongue length in consideration if it is long move the axle back further if it is short move the axle foward. I like to move small trailers by hand so I don't like over 150lbs of tongue weight. Any odd loads you'll need to use common sense to load properly, always have some tongue weight.
  8. LEAD it will help to hold the front down. Sorry, but if you have to ask that then you are far from a complete set. Do some more searchs on this and check out a few websites you'll learn a lot.
  9. Your blueprints are bolted to the front of your bike right now. It is just a matter adding the +2-+1 and making sure you have clearance for the shock and tire/rims. I set the ball joints at 20 degrees and moved the shock mount out 5/8" further than stock for +2's.
  10. Jetting by the color of the pipes is like trying to find a good wife by how good they are in bed. Blueing isn't a indicator of the jetting. By the way I am a blue pipe guy.
  11. Oh and my guess is the jetting is fat the right plug for me always seems to foul first when running to rich.
  12. You should do a proper leak down test. It is good practice to check regularly so you know the health of the motor. Check the clymers manual and get some plugs at the hardware store and a cheap hand pump w/gauge at the autoparts store.
  13. Check ebay and some of the aftermarket a-arm manufactures. I have seen what your looking for but don't know where. They were $80 for a full set of four. You can always ream your spindles the taper is probably Honda.
  14. My a-arms worked perfect. Forgot what it felt like with the added stability. Here is a photo of the finished product.
  15. I replied to your first post about this. Everyone has a opinion what is best but everone rides different. If you get them for a really good price than try them. You can always sell them for what you paid for them right?
  16. Stock carbs. Don't know what year they came from.

  18. I like a 20-10-10 9 paddle for trail ride/hill shooting duning. From your mods your running a tall gear for the dunes you might rethink what your going to do. Tire height and gearing go together. Go with a 14th sprocket and you'll pull a 9 paddle just fine. A 20-10-10 tire will still give you the straight pull and it will slide as good as the v paddles. Just imagine hammering in to the turn slide her a bit then lay in to it and slide back as she pulls the front tires up and shoots out straight screaming!!! Fu-- I think I just jizzed on myself.
  19. Works dual rate shocks. set up for stock arms and @160-200lb range. $200 plus shipping. Pm me for questions.
  20. -1 5/8 roundhousing carrier swingarm. Painted silver. $100 plus shipping.
  21. They are advertised in the June Dirtwheels for $80 and you'll see them on the opening page for their website. http://www.esr250.com/
  22. Seals I used are TCM part# 44x62x8TC same seal as stock. If in doubt pull the bearings and seals and cross the Part #s.
  23. Shouldn't unless you need to beat that dragged out banshee and your not going to win with sandstar anyway. I love mine and mostly ride the oregon dunes with 9 blades. I still get up all the hills. It is amazing how it will handle the woops with a +2-+1 frontend. Try it you'll love it.
  24. I run ESR temp gauges. I would highly recommend. I installed them in front of the head between the pipes. Pleanty of room between Toomeys or Paul Turners.
  25. I just had that issue with a dual row Lonestar carrier. I bought it used then installed it. I could hardly turn the axle. I pulled the bearings regreased them then reinstalled them in the carrier with new seals. It turn freely after that. In my carrier the seals were pulled on the sealed bearings except for the outer facing sides. You should be able to get the bearings and seals from a local bearing supplier.
