  1. I bought new because I did not know at the time what to look for in a used one, but if I did it again I would buy a good used one with at least pipes and a few bolt ons. There is so many stock parts like pipes that are worthless and will not bring you any money to sell. If you get a modified used bike you can sell a lot of the parts if you don't like them.
  2. That's good to hear cause I have bought parts from there but have steered clear of sending anything to get work performed cause everyone complained about customer service and turnaround time.
  3. That 14 tooth front sprocket should be fine with the extra power you are adding. To get the most for your money port your reed cages=free, mill the head .030=35 bucks, buy a degree key=10 bucks from alba, have the flywheel lightened=40 bucks, take off excess crap from the bike=free.
  4. If yours is broke so is all the rest of ours.
  5. That warp drive that dunedemon has is the way to go. It looks really sweet maybe someone will post a picture.
  6. Top speed of a stock shee is about 72. The best length to race stock is 300 feet.
  7. Unless everything in your porting is just right to make up for it the spacer plate will lean most of your power towards top or bottom end depending on where you put the spacer.
  8. I'm right down the road from cherry point let me know when you plan on riding.
  9. Vito's degree key $25. A port can cost anywhere from 200 to 400. Go with passion racing to get your moneys worth and someone that will work with you. Stay away from trinity if you want customer service.
  10. To me that temp gauge looks like it would vibrate around a lot. There used to be pictures of some better ones on here that were mounted in the fender.
  11. Clear gas lines will save you a lot of headaches. You can make your own with some clear tubeing.
  12. T5's
  13. If your running the airbox with those vents try taking the lid off and see if it helps. I had trouble getting enough air. If that helps you will need a better filter setup so the filter will stay on.
  14. The banshee is not easy to ride a wheelie on cause it's so long. It's easier with pipes but you still need constant traction.
  15. If you want to keep the airbox go with that power lid setup. I run k&n pods and the only time I did not like them was when I rode this one place with a lot of water.
  16. Go with the kit and get every thing at once. The kit I ordered come with every thing but filters and I ordered them right away because I could not get enough air.
  17. I know some riders that decided to save 100 bucks cause they were told that there was no performance difference. The fatties and pro circuits generally run 100 bucks less than t5's used to and t6's are even more expensive.
  18. Iam running the dominators and love them. They are taller and wider and you have more leverage to steer and can sit up straight. They are real shiny also.
  19. The banshee is real reliable if maintained properly. I have an 01 and still running stock top end and clutch (not saying they won't go tomorrow) but if you run good oil, good gas, warm it up before riding, and most important don't over rev, it will last a long time.
  20. That's why I included the part about if clearance is not an issue.
  21. You should have problems getting that thing to warm up ice racing.
  22. If clearance is not an issue go for the 18's and play with the gears.
  23. Not a hole lot of power but a decent bike if it was taken care of. I've seen some that would not stay running and some that were ten years old and give no problems because they were taken care of. Give that thing a good test drive and see how it feels.
  24. Eighther your impellar is not turning or the radiator is clogged up. I only overheat when staying in low gears in extremely hot weather, and since I run engine ice I don't have that problem no more.
  25. The amp link is a waist of money. Spend that 125 on something to add more power and fly by those four pokes.
