  1. Ditch the box I have never regreted going with the k&n pods with outerwears.
  2. Spend the extra 5 bucks and get the spark plug holder bracket, it's well worth it.
  3. They don't sound good to me. What year is your banshee?
  4. Go with race gas straight, mixing is a waste. I've seen av gas run in raptors with no problem but they run stronger on 93. The av gas smells good to. I run cam2 110 octane myself.
  5. Sounds good to get some new banshees in the area. Riding spots are not that great unless you into mudbogging but we make the best of it.
  6. What is the cost versus going with a cheetah powervalve setup.
  7. I also run synthetic amsoil at 50:1 (good shit) and the oil problem is the shee is not meant for idling long or low rpm riding. Just ride it like you stole it and you want have that problem anymore.
  8. That 3.99 a gallon is for cam2 110. Some guys run av fuel 100LL and pay 2 something a gallon.
  9. I have heard yes and no but have not been myself. I know at emarald isle you can ride on the beach with vehicles in the off season with a permit but do not know about quads. I have not been up to hatteras yet but people say they ride on the beach there with vehicles but did not need a permit. I going to try to get some info but eighther no one knows for sure or says no.
  10. I get mine from texaco even though they were out today(first time this has happened to me) and the local drag strip has it but was not open today. It is currently 3.99 a gallon but was 3.61.
  11. I have said this before and I don't beleive anyone tries it but carb cleaner works wonders. I used it on mine just today cause yesterday I took my boy riding and the bottom of his shoes melted on my chrome t5's. Sprayed it on, wiped it off. If you have a banshee you should allready have a can on the shelf.
  12. You need to contact a guy that goes by meat on this site, he also has the site thebansheezone.com. He has built one and also has a modified banshee.
  13. I can run 93 just fine but choose to run 110 cause it runs smoother and more more predictable. With 93 it feels like you have good power but not consistent. It was that way before the head mod but more noticeable with it.
  14. Just go .020 over so you will have 3 more bores left before having to use sleeves or by new cylinders. Boring is not the way to achieve power.
  15. The tm designworks have a one year warranty and that is what I got out of them. For the price I was not pleased. Now I run a roller that I got from a place I worked and is is a trolley wheel for an overhead conveyor. It works the best for me and it was free.
  16. Mine will do the same thing if I put around like a four stroke but no problem at all if I ride it like it's meant to be.
  17. Go for it, I had mine done over a year ago and and have been very pleased. I had .025 taken off of mine because that is what he recmmended to keep the proper squish. I am running a stock 01 top end. Hope this helps
  18. Try the for sale section on here, there is a lot of people on here that have blasters also.
  19. Where can you ride in there? Are you talkng about the main roads and just not in the woods? I have been hunting there before and would like to do some top end riding on some of those long dirt roads since North Carolina does not have any dirt roads.
  20. I am also a proud owner of a did x ring gold strength chain. I have not tried other aftermarket chains but I don't see any reason to try them.
  21. Started with the thumb throttle and switched to the twist and will never go back to the thumb throttle.
  22. Are you sure you want the sore thumb.
  23. Be carefull in the croatan national forest I've been told you can no longer ride in there on atv's. Looks like a good spot though.
  24. Does not sound good, probably going to need a top end rebuild kit.
  25. No the width is not that critical, it will just give you extra rim protection.
