  1. I am only a little over an hour from there. Are you new here? What type of riding are you in to.
  2. Let me know when you get here I only live about an hour or so from bragg. I moved here from Florida and there really is not any places to ride without having to pay admission. I'm a little closer to the coast and it is real muddy. Let me know what kind of places you find I'm willing to drive if you find something good I just don't care for mud cause I was used to riding in sand.
  3. With a stock motor and bolt ons with 20 inch rear tires where would be a good start for gearing. I have a 15-41 at the time.
  4. My brother in law has a fast 400 sport with a drag port, lots of clutch work, lightened flywheel, lots of weight striped off the bike and many other things. It is fast and running 300 foot dirt drags but it will not beat a stroked and ported banshee. It's like the 500 quadzilla that big single cylinder has trouble hanging with the 2 small light weight pistons.
  5. Toomey t5's, you will not be dissapointed.
  6. Boost bottle seems to help slightly if your all stock but no help at all with mods. I went back to the balance pipe. Tried plugging the holes and seemed to take away slightly. If you know someone with one try it and see, hell I'll sell you mine.
  7. Yes you need the kit so the shee will idle and it is worth it just to get the clutter off the bike. I run the motion pro twist throttle and I love it. If your tired of having a sore thumb and arm after 30 minutes of riding trash that thumb throttle. Sure it's takes some getting used to but I had never had a twist throttle until I put mine on but I love it and have never been dumped because of the twist.
  8. The 15 is way to high for hill climbing with paddles. I run a 15-41 all the time but lost to much bottem end for a hill climb with paddles. Most people recommend to help with traction on hard ground without paddles because the shee spins and tacs out to quick with 14-41. So 15-41 on hard ground 14-41 on sand with paddles.
  9. Not a night and day difference but well worth the $25 for a degree key. You will not notice a difference unless you have aftermarket pipes. The banshee timing advance helps at high rpm's the blaster adds at low rpm's.
  10. One sign of bad reeds is eighther broken reed or one that will not close. You want your reeds closed when the bike is off and open as rpm's increase and pull a vacuum to open them. Hope this helps.
  11. Thanks for the info it will be very helpful.
  12. Unless you have plenty of money to burn don't do it. Just be patient man. Usually if you have doubts your probably going to screw something up.
  13. Very good deal but don't have the cash.
  14. Go to the bansheezone.com and talk with the guy that set up the site. He has some info on rz's, he has built one. He used to be on this sight and I beleive he went by meat but I could be wrong on that.
  15. It might just be me but the search does not help me find that much. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. I've bought a few parts from trinity without a problem but passion racing would be the only one to touch my cylinders. The 12 port they do gets you more for your money. Just my 2 cents though.
  17. engine ice works great for me cause unless I idle for a long time I don't have cooling problems.
  18. way to rich, I run 280 mains with toomey pipes and ported reed cages and k&n pods.
  19. Just quit being stingy and drop a grand into that shee and fly by that cr. Money is the name of the game if you don't like being beat.
  20. I get dirtier from the rear tires than the fronts and still have rear fenders. If you don't like getting dirty trade that thing on a truck.
  21. Over 150 pounds is not recomended without welding the crank. Some people have seperated cranks with stock compression.
  22. Those heads are nice but if you want to stick to pump gas and are not having cooling problems just have your stock one modified. You can have up to .030 taken off without the need to recut your domes. I had .025 taken off of mine and could not keep the front tires on the dirt when I got traction. It only cost about 30 bucks or if you have the right equipment you can do it for free.
  23. Thanks for the reply but I'm looking to do it myself.
  24. If you think it's a pain in the ass to get out, try putting it back in. Junk that thing and go to open filters.(a lot more air flow)
  25. I was wondering how much material to take off of my flywheel without getting too deep and into the magnets.
