Hey guys, I need to sell my Banshee So in order to get as much exposure as possible, I am posting a bunch of places. I have always trusted the opinions of the people here at BansheeHQ, so i figure you guys should get the first stab at this beast. Here is the list of mods: -Trinity Racing Stage IV port and polish -Trinity Racing Stage IV 420cc big bore kit w/ 4mm stroker crank -Trinity Racing Stage IV CV (Constant Velocity) Carb Kit -Trinity Racing Stage IV Head -Toomey Racing T5 Pipes and silencers -Timmy Boy A-arms (+1 Forward +2 Wide) -Keihin 35mm PWK Carburetor -Maxis Razr Rear tires, stock front tires -Yamaha Raptor Front Shocks -Steel Braided Brake Lines -FMF Torque Reeds -Heavy Duty Racing Clutch -Ricky Stator CDI Best offer will take this bike. This is a great deal, considering the engine was very recently rebuilt, and the kit from Trinity runs about $1000. The Toomey pipes are about $600. Hopefully one of you needs another sick Banshee, and if you have any recommendations as far as other places to get exposure, please let me know. Thanks a lot. Ben Johnson

Trinity 420 Banshee For Sale
SHEESaBEAST replied to SHEESaBEAST's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I am asking $4000, but I am willing to negotiate. This thing needs to go soon... -
Hey guys, this is my Trinity 420 stroker Banshee that I am selling. It runs great and looks superb. I am only selling it because once I leave for college this fall, I won't ever get to ride it again. So I want to get it to someone that will appreciate it. This thing is loaded, here is a list of the mods. This '99 Banshee has a Trinity Racing 420 engine. It runs very well after a top-end engine rebuild in the summer of 2006, and a new CDI unit the summer of 2007. -Trinity Racing Stage IV port and polish -Trinity Racing Stage IV 420cc big bore kit w/ 4mm stroker crank -Trinity Racing Stage IV CV (Constant Velocity) Carb Kit Trinity Racing Stage IV Head -Toomey Racing T5 Pipes and silencers -Timmy Boy A-arms (+1 Forward +2 Wide) -Keihin 35mm PWK Carburetor -Maxis Razr Rear tires, stock front tires -Yamaha Raptor Front Shocks -Steel Braided Brake Lines -FMF Torque Reeds -Heavy Duty Racing Clutch -Ricky Stator CDI Unit I will post Pictures as soon as I get to my computer with them on it. I will also e-mail them to anyone who wants them. I have like 12 good representations of the bike. Please e-mail me with comments or questions. I need to get this sold ASAP, if you have any suggestions as to how to sell it faster that BansheeHQ, or how to get it more exposure, please let me know. Thanks a lot, Ben Johnson [email protected] [email protected] 913-669-4328 This Banshee is Located in Stilwell KS, Zip Code 66085. The shipping / pick up will be dependent on the buyer. Thanks again.

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out...I bought a '99 Banshee off of a guy who had put a Trinity 420 Stage IV on it. I got it, ran it for about a month, and then almost instantly it lost almost all its power. When I first asked this forum about it about a year and a half ago, I got responses such as "reeds" "clutch" "plugs" and the works. After putting it on the market at a loss for me, I got a few people out to see it, and one of them said that it was the crank, "not likely" says Trinity, who says it is an electrical problem. Ca you please give me some more insight as to what you think it its. Here are the details, used to have about 90 hp, with its Toomey T5's, the 420 kit,and a single-carb set up. It now runs, which is good, after a rebuild last summer which did nothing to improve my situation. It idles fine, maybe a little low, but it gets up and goes like you would expect your 4 year olds 90cc quad to do. Revs seem fine, but it can't get to high speeds. Its just lacking power, if you can tell me what you think, I've ruled out misfires, both plugs work fine, also after a complete top end rebuild, I still lack power, the clutch its VERY tight, need a new one, but doubt thats the problem...Thanks a lot guys.

Big Banshee Problem! Need Help!

the exhaust pressure is the same, ill tell you this much about reving, it will rev fairly well, but i honestly cant remember what it sounded like before the problem started, so i cant get the sound matched against anything. But i have a knowledgable neighbor and he said that sometimes the spark plugs will crap out and intermittantly go out on you, say only spark every other stroke, so he said try to get some new plugs and try those out. also, what about takin it to a shop to have them diagnose the problem, do you think they could find it any bettter than us? i dont wanna pay em $150 to find nothing out. I also switched the spark wires around, and it seemed to run differently, but maybe that was all mental. thanks alot for your guys' help so far. -
Big Banshee Problem! Need Help!
SHEESaBEAST replied to SHEESaBEAST's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
hey guys thanks alot, yeah the clutch could be the problem, but could the clutch really cause the bike to lose all power, could you explain what the clutch is doing that would make it so horrible? i thought reeds at first, turns out not, then i figured spark, but i had it in both cylinders, i took of the silencers and ran it thinking there might be something obstructing the exhaust, no luck, and then i think its an electrical problem, now it might be the clutch, any more words of wisdom as to which one it most likely is? -
OK, big problem here, i have a 99 shee with a trinity stage 4 420 big bore long rod, and my problem occurred one day while just cruisin round the neighborhood. I stopped at my buddies house and we decided to take off, we leave his driveway and i realize something is wrong when i have NO POWER where i normally do. My power band was steep and you had to hold on, now my power band is non-existent and you could go no handed. I cant even get it up to 40 mph now, and i used to be able to get it to 95. I thought it was a head gasket issue, because i had one before and wasnt sure if i fixed it right. So i got a new head gasket and sealed her up good. no help there. Now i figure its a spark issue and i checked spark to find that both plugs are goin strong. So i sit back and think, could it be timing?? if it is how could this problem be fixed. it sounds like the engine is NOT firing right, it sounds off, its hard to explain in text, but if you can offer any suggestions please do, its been like this since the end of july and i had to go to college (pfffff). so i want to get it fixed this winter break so i can go to the dunes next summer.

Hey i have a trinity 420 big bore long rod in my banshee, and i need to know how bad reeds can get before they make the bike run too rich to hit its power band. this is what i think is happening, ive bassically messed with anything else it could be, just wondering because ive narrowed it down to intake, exhaust, or air/feul, intake is taken out so im pretty usre it would be the air feul, any tips??? Thanks alot
-
thanks for the info, unfortunatly i got the same thing fron trinity yesterday in a fax, but thanks anyway, also, they told me to use permatex motoseal 1 or 2 or the 3 bond crap,
-
ok, trinity gave me a new copper head gasket, a set of o-rings and nothing else. should they have given me something else? and my compression was at 140, is this a bad thing? and if i were to take the top end apart, would a problem be evident? also, the coolant spitting is slowing down, it really doesnt do it that much that i can see, it is when i ride it hard before it is really warmed up, then it drips, but only like 5 or 6 drops. the only thing i did between when it started bogging and started bogging was refill the coolant system. can this have caused it? im going to drain my coolant, and my gas and start over, but i cant imagine that that is a problem. can a bike have a blown somthing and still start on first kick every time, because if something is blown, other than a head gaasket, wouldnt it affect the capability of the bike even running? anyway theres some more info.. thanks alot for your help so far!
-
ok like i said the coolant isnt that big of a deal, its the bogtging sort of that is pissing me off, the coolant might just be my radiator cap being screwed up. and ive replaced the head gasket, with the copper one from trinity, and a set of o-rings they gave me, it is getting warmed up, and if i were to take apart the top end, would my problem be evident???
-
alright, the overflow problem isnt that much of a problem really, i keep it cool and it is probably just my radiator cap being screwed up. And i know for a fact that i need both o-rings and a head gasket because trinity told me so. next problem, i have run into the issue of it bogging down and just lacking any sort of power at all, it gets ready to hit its insanely steep power band and it just wont. im pretty sure its not a carb issue, and im pretty sure that its not misfiring, my compression is at 140 ish, now a stock banshee this might be ringt, but i have a 420 big bore and i dont know if it is righ. also i changed the spark plugs, took of the air filter, messed with the pilot needle, and messed with my air fuel mix, none of it worked. the only thing i can think of is to replace my gas cz my mix might not be right, and clean my exhaust. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???????

Alright, I just bought a sweet Banshee, you can see my list of mods at the bottom, the main one being a Trinity 420 big bore long rod, and I failed to mention (actually, I didn
