Ok guys and gals, I told you the ATVDRA would be busy in 2012 and I was not joking. The schedule is almost completed with dates and locations but there is one in particular I wanted to tell you about first. For everyone that always wants to find the E.T.’s too good to believe and always wanting PR to come to the states and prove themselves, well here is your chance to see it and be a part of it! “Puerto Rico will be invaded by the States” will be held in the late fall of 2012. That’s right, the ATVDRA is going to Puerto Rico and you are invited. Multiple bikes and quads will be making the trip across the water to see what they got for the US. We have arranged a double stack container and shipping to and from Puerto Rico, the round trip time frame will be approximately 6 to 8 weeks, any pre-registered entries will need to be boarded at the port in Florida 4 weeks in advance. All information regarding exact time, location and cost will be posted soon along with the maximum limit of crate sizing and quantity. A deadline will be made and posted at that time that any participants will need to verify with the ATVDRA by hotel and flight reservations and itinerary. Depending on the amount of preregistration and sponsorship the shipping will be at a very low expense if any at all, enough entries will most likely result in a free ride for your quad to and from Puerto Rico. Mention this information to your builder and suppliers, it could make the difference in your free trip to the island and Puerto Rico’s premier NHRA certified dragstrip! Get ready to act fast, limited spacing is available so if you want to go,,,,,,, GET READY!

OK Street racers here is your surprise at the Grudgefest coming next weekend. After the event is over on Saturday we will be having a hand drop street race at the other end of the track. The track has set up a win light and we will be flagging. No excuses now! No times, no track, LEGAL STREET RACING with EMS on stand bye!!

We will be offering 3 different classes during the GRUDGEFEST in November at Macon National Dragway. The classes will be listed below with the rules stated with them. Some chassis maybe subject to ground clearance check depending on the wheel base and interference. Classes must have a minimum of 6 entries to be ran, payouts will be given to the 1st and 2nd place winners and split in a 70/30 pay out, amount will be based off of the amount of entry dollars collected. Gates open at 10am, A riders meeting will be held at 1pm sharp, Classes to begin at approx 2pm. Classes and Rules: 1) "TRUE STREET" Stock Chassis= chassis is to be of OEM configuration with only bolt on items in factory given mountable areas permitted. Removal of any areas are permitted, welding and/or attachment of any non-factory area are prohibited. 2) "THE CUB CLUB" Cub Cylinders= This class is designated for a cub cylinder only, any chassis modifications and/or the use of an aftermarket chassis is permitted. This is a NON-POWER ADDER class. 3) "OUTLAW PRO MOD" Run Whatcha Brung= This class is designated for anybody who thinks they got what it takes to be on top of the game. ****This event will be based on a N/T (No Times Shown) basis. At no time will any times be shown except for any attempts of setting the ATVDRA records. The N/T rule will be in effect for all classes ran. Any record attempts must notify the officials so the time boards can be activated, failure to perform this will result in the loss of a recorded time regardless of the performed ET.
