  1. I tried this and it would not budge!! I then tried to heat it by torching it for 3 mins or so and it still did not budge :: I think the pin might be wedged in there and causing it to be stuck!! it looks pretty straight, but I can see where it might be wedged a little on one side of the pin?? I hope I didn't damage the gear while trying to remove it. If I did does anyone have a good one for sale ?
  2. Yea its on the clutch side. I was going to use a torch, but wanted to make sure there was nothing I was missing?
  3. I am trying to remove the primary drive gear off my old HR crank. I have the nut and the first small gear already off, but the larger gear which is held in by the square pin wont come loose. I tried to pry it loose from behind with a screwdriver pretty hard, but it wont move. Is there anything special that needs to be done to get this thing off???
  4. Personally I would use hotrods, but Vitos is pretty good too. I would recommend the prolites as well.
  5. SOLD TO banshee332
  6. Yes you can, but IMHO you are not going to get that night and day diff with swapping the domes. You will get more power but not enough to own someone who was owning you before? Also, I dont think its worth the time to take apart the head to do this while at camp. I also would not want to take apart the head unless needing to do a rebuild or permanently swapping out the domes. I would suggest if you are doing serious dragging get the 18cc domes and run race gas or 50/50 depending on your needs  My .02
  7. Yea if that 290 is your main, then thats WAY too high. Actually I dont think they even make a 290 main ?? What pilot are you running? Also, just to be safe you can put the timing back to 0 until you get it tuned.
  8. Yep stock airbox will be fine. U will need a prodesign adapter thing, but thats about it. I have one and it works great. I am running the trinity intake with a 35mm Kehin PWK
  9. I would run Dominator instead: https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/tdr.aspx its what I used when I used Amsoil.
  10. Who did you send them off to?
  11. I ordered these from Jeff at FAST last time I placed an order with him and realized I already had a set. First $20 shipped gets them!!! Pics: http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o215/ba...028/O_Rings.jpg
  12. I agree, unfortunately I was not able to get him my cyl's in time back before he left, but he was very patient and willing to talk several times when I called him. Never even spoke about $ for phone calls....His work is supposed to be top notch as well.
  13. I had similar mods as you with a few extras, but walked away from those pred's. I even missed 3rd gear, and gave up a few bike lengths . Shifted to 4th, and I was flying by him .... We raced 8-10 times, same result...Dude was pissed!!
  14. I completely agree. I learned the hard way as well. Fortunately I did not bend a rod or anything but I ended up doing a full rebuild.... I WILL NOT GO THROUGH WATER AGAIN ::
  15. If you have stock gearing, for around $20 I would try to go up to a 15t in the front and see how that works. With your mods you should be good with a 51/41. t-5's will give a little more top-end over fmf but not much. I would try the 15 first
  16. Cool, I am thinking of a very similar setup soon.... I think a 230 main is the highest for that carb?? You might want to try a 38mm esp with the 4 mill?
  17. Whats your jetting on that carb? Thats a nice trail setup!!
  18. dajogejr, so what if I have a simple woods port, and wanted to get it re-ported for a 4mil? Would it not work optimally since it was already ported? I was planning on using cut domes, but did not know about the cylinder re-porting issues??
  19. Prolly a little. What clip position is the needle in? I would put it in the middle (3) and try some 180-185 mains and see how that works.
  20. On my trinity intake that bolts to the reeds, its just the flat metal without any o-rings. It has the orings on the side of the carb, but thats it? I would say the gaskets with a little rtv should work fine!
  21. I would first try a bigger main, esp since its a 33mm instead of a 35mm. My 35mm used 190 mains with similar mods, so you might need around 185-195 with your carb setup. If there are no other air leaks, and your comp is similar in each cyl, then not sure what else might be causing the problem? Oh, did you swap the coil wires around already?
  22. I had similar mods as you when I first got my 35mm single carb, and I think I used a 190-195 main and around a 50-52 pilot. Try that and see how it works out. Or you can start richer like at a 200 and go down from there, but I think you may end up in the 190 range. As far as the intake gaskets, you would use reed gaskets for the vforce 2's and the trinity intake side....This would be "summer" jetting.
  23. I think the calipers bolt right on. I have some I am going to install as soon as I get a chance!
