  1. since you have most bolt-ons, you might try a 15t front sprocket if you are still stock (14/41). This will give you a little more top end and will help with less shifting...Its also less than $15
  2. I think your stock carbs will be fine with a woods or mx type port. As long as you jet them properly with the right size jets, you should be in good shape.
  3. If you can find your way to Delancy, I might meet up there.....I have to find a new way to get to Delancy from Rodman......I have guests visiting on Saturday, so not sure of the plans for Sunday yet.....But I am planning on riding out somewhere :ninja:
  4. NO you dont need any flags...Just dont drive on numbered roads and you should be set!
  5. Sounds good...I am talking to a few ppl from work to see if they are going too..One dude has a kfx700, that is supposed to be fast But lets see how things work out by then....
  6. That sounds good, and I really would like to go to CR, but this week I have class and wont be able to go anywhere :: CR is South from ONF right? I am trying to make it out to Rodman the following week to mess around some..Are there any dirt\sand race tracks north of ONF ???
  7. Here is about the cheapest you will find ($35) and very good quality! CLICK_HERE Most will agree +2 to about +4 timing is safe for a stock shee....Much more timing or compression you should probably have your crank welded to be safe. Adv timing will give better low-mid performance, at a cost of top-end, although its probably not much of a loss on top, since many drag bikes have +7 adv or more.
  8. I wonder if this can be applied to the inside walls of a cylinder...That way they would not get scarred up as often, and would not need to get honed or bored as much, if ever??? It sounds like we could use it almost everywhere, tranny, pistons, crank, etc...
  9. I agree with this 100% ... Its probably the best thing to do in this case and track and\or insure it next time....
  10. UPDATE: I just went out to Rodman yesterday and found a few interesting things First one of the main roads\trails from where you start riding (along side the pit) is now an offical numbered road!! #88 Thats not too big of a deal since you can pretty much take other trails to get where you want to go. Although it was nice to do a medium speed looping run on that road..... But the biggest BS is with one of the main (0nly?) trail that connected to pretty much "everywhere" I mostly go, was marked as not a trail :: This was the trail that leads to Delancy, and some super smooth trails, and many other all day never-ending trails. However, I am sure the trails on the other side of this one blocked "trail" STILL LEAD TO DELANCY, and everything else. There were MANY trails that were Officially marked as yellow ATV trails right past this newly blocked trail. So I DON'T think those previously yellow listed trails would now be changed, just this ONE trail that leads to it. So, I think we need to simply find a new way to get to this area from some other trail, and we should be good to go. I will go on atvflorida and search around to see what I can find....
  11. I used to run Amsoil Dominator at about 40:1. Very good quality oil.
  12. LOL...Yea I ordered a brake lever w/res from him and recv'd it priority mail in 2-3 days!! Also met him in our last ride-out and he is a cool guy. I don't think he would have shafted someone for a shock?
  13. Yall just decide on a date.....I should be there
  14. Im in :ninja: Rodman is the northern most part of ONF. I think 19 goes all the way through the forest, if you are close to 19?
  15. Sounds good to me...... Plenty of time to get ready, and save up some ca$h.... LOL
  16. Just wanted to say I had a great time Satruday and it was relly cool meeting everyone  We have to make another one soon, hopefully at Rodman\Delancy(for the campers). Lets see the pics .............
  17. Hey yall, I will be there on Saturday.....Cant camp out this time due to other things going on.....But where and what time does everyone want to meet on Saturday morning.....
  18. For me, I will most likely be there Sat....
  19. I have his woods port as well, and a 35mm single carb setup! It runs GREAT. I just finished breaking it in, and so far its awesome, power everywhere. I would recommend this setup for a woods port
  20. csrmel, what counties down there are opted-IN?? I am from down there and would like to know. I did hear about this, but where is the official list of counties that are participating vs not ?
  21. Thats crazy man....Just what I was looking for...how about we trade the 2 ms links for it ? J/k, I will bring you some cash this weekend, and we can install it at ONF
  22. I have one, maybe 2 ms links I can bring to the ride! That is as long as I can get everything working by Friday! :ninja:
  23. Looking for a good condition front brake lever\master cyl setup. Mine was working fine, until I busted the bolts off since they were frozen!! :: If anyone has one in good shape for a fair price, LMK..... Thanks
  24. The bearing really looks in good shape, and was oilded fine. It was not completely flush with the cover, so I lightly tapped it back in place. Maybe this had something to do with it, although it was still stiff before. I just tried it again, and it will spin if I use a little force and try to turn it, but again with the impeller and the pin, it just spins and does not turn the bearing! Is it possible to just remove the bearing without damaging the seal? This way I can try to match up the bearing and just replace that.
  25. I have the clutch cover off since I just put in a new clutch and billit impeller. The bearings do move a little, but not too easy. When I put the impeller in, it does turn easy, but it does not actually spin the bearings much, it just mostly spins inside the bearing. It does spin it a little, just not much, and it definately wont "continue to spin if you try to spin it hard" . Is this normal, or do I need to replace the bearing? I am trying to get this back to gether so I can ride this weekend, as this has been a couple of weeks its been down . I really dont want to have to order another part and wait another week to ride
