  1. Is it the 450 A-Arms that cause it to sit lower, or something else? I have QuickSand +2+1 A-Arms, so if its the 450 arms that make it sit lower mine should be fine ??
  2. Actually I think they are standard length, but they are setup for my +2+1's. Is "Long Travel" a certain length? If so maybe I can get mine re-done as long travel....I mainly ride trails, but would like the longer travel and better setup!
  3. U will need 795 series pistons, special cut domes, cyl's re-ported to match 4mill (I have heard depending on the type and amount of port work already done on a non 4mil, this may be difficult since its already ported), new crank ~$500, pistons $150, domes ~100, etc...As far as jetting you should not have to do much...maybe a little richer, but probably not much difference from where you are now if your jetted right.
  4. I was thinking of doing the YFZ swap but using my Quicksand +2+1's and my TCS shocks, with everything else from the YFZ. How do you think that would work out? I know it should fit, but as far as handling and other issues ??
  5. Uless you are running a spacer plate you will need special cut domes, not sure if you already have them or not..What type of carb do you have? If its a 35 pwk, I would say a 190-200 main would be close with a EEl or EEK needle.
  6. Agreed. This is how it is on my 35PWK.
  7. I would start around a 185-190 main, but the needle on a single carb is Very important too! What needle are you using? I would recommend a EEK or EEJ.... I have a single carb and that needle is much better than the DEK I had before.
  8. Are those really pwk's? I only ask since I have a single pwk and the bowel and tops look alot different?
  9. F.A.S.T. ---- Great work and Great service
  10. WHAT NEEDLE and main jets are you running? Might have to adjust your float height although I have never done that yet.
  11. Yea, I still have the stock inner hub and pressure plate. My old basket did not have any marks on it, but I will double check. At this point I dont think I am going to open it up again soon .... Weird how I have a few ppl say this is definitely a problem and others like csrmel and many others say theirs have done this since NEW! ??
  12. Actually I could not find it. I will put it on once I find it... Thanks everyone
  13. Well I put the round clutch cover thing back on and its maybe a tiny bit better, but its still there...At this point I am RUNNING IT
  14. I thought about that but did not think it would make much of a difference! But good idea...I will try that TODAY...
  15. If you are talking about the basket and not the inside pressure plate, I will have to check. My previous after market basket made the same noise, so is this the case for all aftermarket baskets or just Hinson? I will look at my old basket to see if there are any marks on it, but I think it was mint!
  16. I dont think the kicker is the problem. I can hold it perfectly tight and its still there. Never heard of this issue with the Hinson plate. However I have the stock pressure plate with the Hinson basket...??
  17. That would be me  My old basket did the same thing which is why I thought it might have been something in the basket. But I think the basket itself is fine?
  18. The water pump bearing seems good. Was replaced along with a new seal new not too long ago. It spins pretty smooth. I think the impeller has been rubbing on the inside of the cover at times, but this new sound seems deeper than what should be if the impeller was rubbing on the inside of the cover ?? Kicker idler gear is GOOD, with a new bushing and spins smooth with almost no extra play! Snop, can the trans main be installed wrong or have come loose since being put together? What is the aux shaft end bearing? On the tranny, or crank?
  19. Ok, I did a complete top and bottom end rebuild and broke-in everything properly. Bike starts right up and runs strong! No obvious running issues at all. The problem is there is a weird "gear" type sound coming from the clutch side. It happens right from idle, with or without the clutch pulled in, and increases with throttle. Now I have taken apart the clutch cover 3 times and inspected everything. I have replaced the entire clutch basket with a new aftermarket one including new cushions, I have new springs for the kick starter, new idler gear bushing, everything seems installed correct and tight! At first I thought it was the cushions but after 2 different baskets, it still does the same thing. Replaced all springs, several misc bushings within the clutch cover area and cant figure out where its coming from. It runs fine, but I would like to find out what it is. Tranny shifts really smooth, and I don't think its installed wrong or anything? Any advice? Here is a clip of it running: http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o215/ba...=MVI_2311-0.flv
  20. Dude, are you writing book or something..LOL Yea I do have a 2-1 setup and really like it. The jetting is SUPER easy. However I am getting pretty interested in how a set of duals would work for my setup. I upgraded from a set of stock carbs! Maybe one day I will try out a set and see how they compare. For now I am sticking to the single, but yea maybe a GOOD tuned set of duals would be better even if it was setup for trail type riding ?
  21. lol, still got my green cooler haha? Maybe one day once I get the Shee running without this noise we can ride out again! Hopefully I will be good to go this weekend. I am a happy camper as last week I finally got my Green Sticker and a new title! So I am perfectly legal. Just have to make a copy and keep it with me We should definitely hook up again soon ....
  22. Did they say anything about paying to ride inthe forest itself. Isn't it like $75 per year or something? Does not sound like they enforced that as long as you had the Green sticker? Sup man, I am having some weired ass clutch noise right now I am trying to figure out!! 91banshee is actually selling me a new cltuch basket and gears which I hope will clear things up
  23. No ideas? Could this be the main clutch gear bushing? it does seem like it has some play in it??
