Have my new 01 Shee...Bought used...Pretty decent mods!! The guy I bought it from had it setup for MX...ITP wheels, nurfs, and of course these 18" Holeshots...Now these are nice...and hookup great...... However, while riding this weekend at ONF, going down a long str8 I was in 6th about mid throttle going about 60...Then gunned it and pulled hard to redline and about 70mph!! (Guessing) Now thats not bad but this Shee is really setup and FAST!!! I felt like I needed at least one more gear Im gonna double check the 6th gear but I am pretty sure its working.... So, I am thinking that since it has the stock 14t front spoket and these much smaller 18's in the rear, I need to change them OR change the front sproket to a 15 or more...Now I am NOT gonna be dragging right now, but DO want to take out some other quads when "neccessary" and KEEP the bottom end quickness So, what would be the best way to do this? I really want to keep the 18's since they are on ITP beadlocks and look nice...... THanks

Thanks for all the replys...I think I will use either Motul 10w 30 or regular Castrol 10w 30 for now .... Then, after a while I might look into the ATF .....

Anyone else heard of this? I am thinking about using Motul transoil 10w30 since 10w30 is actually what Yamaha recommends, and Motul is a Good brand! Is there any diff in Motul transoil 10w30 and regualr Castrol 10w30 motor oil?

Thanks SST, anyone else change their oil that often? I know Castrol 20w50 is pretty cheap so it seems like a good idea... Also, what about a good Synthetic oil ... Should protect better right?

Exactly, I plan on changing it before I ride next I already fully cleaned the K&N air filter too....Anything else to check or clean? I am using the same type of gas mixture..Aimsoil 32:1...I will prolly change the plugs although they are working fine now?? Thanks

Just bought a used Shee and wanted to know what everyone is using for their tranny/gear oil? I dont think it matters, but its also pretty well modded......
