  1. For some reason I was thinking that it was THIS weekend!!! So its next weekend that everyone is going, right? I got a spare 520 link, that I never used.
  2. VERY NICE Jeff.....Its also nice to see all the bikes you have built too
  3. Sorry they are stock with the tors...I will try to get a pic and post....Thanks! I also found a stock steering stem, stock front wheels (no tires), some grooved 18" TT's ~ 60% tread.
  4. Have a nice pretty clean set of stock carbs off a 2001. I have a few different size sets of spare jets for them as well. They have been cleaned in\out and run Great! Stock white shocks in decent condition. Stock timing plate. Also have stock headlights.. Leave email for pics... These are just sitting around so make "Reasonable" offers ....
  5. :yelrotflmao: I have a F.A.S.T. Woods port as well, and doing some final jetting on it now. With the new porting it runs GREAT!!! I think you will be happy with it, and Jeff has some of the BEST C.S. around
  6. BS is more in the "middle" part of ONF....Rodman is at the north end of the forest. Rodman does have a couple of camp sites too...Delancy is one and you CAN ride out from there, as we have rode up to there several times (ATV). Its primitive camping if thats what you want. There is another site, right before Rodman which has more campers and facilites, not sure the name. But at Rodman there are many trails, a hugh PIT, and you can pretty much ride out from there to almost anywhere..The new trail system is also pretty good around there too...Just a few options...
  7. Im still down too and should be ready ..... Is everyone camping out for the whole weekend? I might be able to camp out one night, but most likely might have to just make it a day trip...Not sure.... Is the plan to meet at Big Scrub? I usually go to Rodman, since thats closer to me, but BS is cool too. The whops there do SUCK, but if you ride out pretty far they get a little better. Anyone have a GOOD idea of the forest layout there? Now they have the new trail system so we might have to follow that. Have not been to BS in about 6-8 months....
  8. Add me too....Plz
  9. I would say a Woods\MX port...Thats what I ordered.... Jeff, at FAST...Just got my cylinders back, and putting it all back together. TOP quality work and great customer service!!!
  10. Yep, AIR impact is the only way to go..I had a whole thread on this a while back, and the breaker bar, and even a Dewalt electric impact would not budge it...had to get a good air impact, and it came right off...Also a good idea to impact the flywheel off to with the impact and the removal tool while the impact is available..>Good luck..
  11. I am definately interested.....I am getting my cyl's ported right now with Jeff, so as soon as they get back, and I can put it all back together and do a few test rides and tune it really good, I will be ready to go. I usually go to Rodman (northern part of ONF), which is closer to me...... Late summer early fall is good, once I get it all back together, I will post an update. :baseballcap_blue:
  12. 2-1 Carb......EASY jetting, and awesome low-midrange pull!!
  13. No Loctite, torque to about 59 lbs, keep in gear and use something to hold flywheel when tightening nut
  14. Well, let me just give a quick prop to Jeff.... I spoke to him for maybe 20-30 mins total before sending out my jugs to get bored and Ported! He took his time to going over all my different options and made recomendations based on my current setup and riding style. I send him a BOAT-LOAD of PM's which he replied to EACH ONE!! I have complete confidence in his work, and am sure I will be even more happy once I get them back and take it for a ride! Also, he has only had my cylinders for ONE week, and told me up front how long it could take, so incase they took a little longer than he thought, there would be no surprises. Jeff, keep up THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
  15. I had one downloaded....Cant seem to find it now...If anyone wants to "help-out" (PDF) let me know...
  16. Thanks for the advice Ronnie! Yea, for $20 I will get a set and put them in myself...I will make sure they are for the cool head also.... As for the boring, yea, I will bore it if needed, if not just hone it up some, but prob going to the next size if needed. I am getting new pistons (pro-lites) for whichever bore I need to use. Jeff will measure them and tell me which bore I would need, as well as bore them to that size. I will be carefull with the orings to make sure they are installed perfectly as well......Great advice ....
  17. Thanks for the advice...I was going to replace all the orings, but was not planning on replacing the studs unless I needed to. Why should those be replaced as well? Since it was difficult to remove? Also, are they pretty easy to replace, and which brand would be good to replace them with? You are referring to the head stud set on the cylinders, not the ones on the case, right? If so I can just have Jeff install these for me when he does the porting.... Thanks.
  18. I quess that is what I was referring to, the circlips. Have not tried too much yet, but did not see an easy way to remove them... I also had a manuall on pdf, but cant seem to find it now...If anyone wants to help out with that, feel free....
  19. Last one of the domes....
  20. Also, very important...Here is a pic of the Cool Head and 18cc domes it was running. I was running pump gas, here in FL at pretty much sea level. Seems like even with pump gas, there was no detination, or issues with these domes on pump gas, but most people say that anything less than 20cc's need to run or mix race gas!! Any ideas how I was running these 18cc's without any issues?
  21. Ok, doing a top-end rebuild including a port job. Was going to use Gorr, but since he is not available any more, I will use Jeff at FAST. Most likely getting a mild dune port. Anyway, when I removed the cool head, it did not want to come off. All bolts were off, but I really had to pry it loose. Once I was "loose" it seemed like there was one head stud that was holding it in. Maybe it was slightly bent? Is this normal sometimes??? Now I have the cylinders off, but how do the wrist pins from the pistons come off? I know I need to remove them, but was not sure about these since they have no obvious way to remove them. They seem like a complete circle? Also, can anyone tell what type of pistons these are? They seem to be in good shape. I was running between 32-38:1 Amsoil for 2-3 years with this setup. Bike was running very strong, but had very little compression when kicking it over. I could literally kick it over with one finger on the kick starter. Not start it, just easily push it through to the bottom.
  22. When setup and mixed correctly, AMSOIL's anti-freeze is supposed to be just as good or better than engine ice ...
