  1. When i had Pro Circuits and V-Force,i was at 310 main and 30 pilot, and it was slightly rich. But not enough to effect how it ran.I'm at 1700 ft.
  2. I'm almost positive that it just slides out and can be replaced. It happens because you held the clutch in while going down a hill.I think theres a better part you can buy so it doesn't happen anymore, but i'm sure others can explain better.
  3. Only thing i did was email companies to see what i needed to become a dealer for their parts.I don't have any of the licenses yet.Was just getting a general idea what it took. Most won't even tell you how much you you need to buy until you have all the licenses and prove it to them.
  4. Each company is different Alky. Some just want you to prove you are a business with the proper id,photos of shop, while others want that plus a certain amount of product purchased from them.I emailed probably 20 or so places. The smaller companys are easier to get dealer status with. Most of the bigger places won't even bother. You have to go with their distributors if you want anything.I still plan on trying to get a place going by spring, hopefully.
  5. Need to get rid of some stuff so i can buy Tecate parts. Pro Design intake 26-28mm carbs $100 shipped 18x11x8 grooved turf tamers on Douglas .190 wheels $30 + shipping for tires,$55 + shipping for wheels or $100 shipped for both. Not sure if the tire pics are gonna work,i still have thme loaded on Imagestation.Wheels have some marks around the edge of one wheel.I hardly ever used the tires, but i know after a few days they need air added to them.If any other pics are needed, let me know.Might be up for some trades too,let me know what you have.Might have other stuff to sell, need to look around.
  6. Like Brian said,Holeshots wear fast if you ride on pavement alot.Don't worry too much about it if your gonna just make a quick trip or 2.But if you keep it up,you'll have a pair of slicks in no time.
  7. I've never owned one,but i ride with people who do.From what i experienced, the older ones are terrible. You look at them wrong and something breaks.Polaris got its act together with its newer models, but they still have a ways to go.
  8. If your re-doing it,save yourself the trouble and buy one of those stainless steel kits on Ebay, you'll thank yourself later. The stock bolts are horrible.
  9. I don't care for the fronts, but i do like the back ones. They have a smoother look to them, not as square.
  10. If you talk with Bob,from Magnolia Yamaha, hes a dealer for TCS,he can get you set up.Hes a sponser at Bluetraxx.I can't remember the site offhand or i would post it.
  11. I've shipped some things to Nz as well, and it surprised me how cheap it was,and how quick they got it.I sent my stuff to somewhere in Nelson and it took about 6 days.
  12. I don't know if yours is the same, but my sensor and magnet aren't lined up very good>I think if I can mine lined up perfect,it should get better reading.
  13. Yea,i feel the same way about mine.Mine got up to 78mph,and i feel it should be faster than that.On mine,it seems like the sensor isn't picking up right.I think i need to mess with some to see if i can get it right.Maybe i have the magnet too far from the sensor.
  14. I messed around with it for about an hour, and its pretty cool.Don't think i'll be doing that work anytime soon, but its cool to experiment.
  15. i have the Pro Tapers too. They are a great bar,but when i got mine i got the TrailTech speedo and key mount. You could mount you key under the seat or put it somewhere only you know where it is.
  16. i got the Holyman kicker mod too,and its definitly worth it.Haven't had the chance to try it out yet, still don't have my motor back. :(But it sure does look nice with its chain sitting on my table.
  17. The Pro Circuits are a nickle finish. You'll be able to shine up the parts they still have some finish left. But where the rust spotsare, theres not much you can do.I had Pro Circuits, and i tried to polish the spot out,but it doesn't turn out very good. You could get them ceramic coated, its probably too late to get them chromed. They are in pretty bad shape.
  18. I got mine from Bob @ Magnolia yamaha.hes a sponser on Bluetraxx.I would pm him to see what he can do for you.I know most don't like Bluetraxx, but hes a good guy to deal with.Cheap prices too.
  19. Patriot is in Washington state.i would think any place that can bore your cylinders could put in a sleeve.Maybe someone from Ok can help you more,or check in your Yellow Pages.
  20. What kind of filter is the Pro Flow for.
  21. this is what the July ATV action said "Word from yamaha is that the last Banshees will be imported by December 31,2005.This means that there will be a 2006 and Yamaha expects to have a large enough production run to have a 2007 model. After that, its gonna be used only"
  22. I don't even use clamps for mine, they slip together and fit tight. Not a problem at all.
  23. On yours locogato11283,i would move your needle clip up some. When i put my Roclets on,i had to move my clip clear to the top.About ripped my arms out once i got it right.I would try one step at a time, but try that first.
  24. I must not have read all your thread, but what all are you missing.and what weight are the shocks set up for.
  25. If your beaking up on top, your too rich on your main.It sounds like your trying to change all the jets at one time.I would just do one at a time.Once you get the main, mess with the pilot, then mess with the needle,or however you want. But i would do the main first, least then its a little more ridable that way.I'm in Pa too,how close are you to Uniontown or maybe even Farmington. What type of carbs you have, stock??
