If i'm not mistaken,Race Logic is the company that sells the porting templates,and is do-it-yourself.So really,he probably didn't take much off ,so i'm sure he can have it ported by someone else.I think i remember reading on here at one point that the Race Logic templates are really nothing more than a clean-up port.

Like everyone else says,jetting is a big part of getting it to run right.Mine was off one clip on the needle and it was running crappy,as soon as i moved that clip one notch,i about shit my pants when the power kicked in,it was like a new engine.It does get nerveracking to have to go through 10 different sizes of jets to get it to run right,but it will be worth it.I know we have different carbs,but when i put my Rockets on,i went to the top notch on the needle,and thats when it really came to life.

I might be wrong,but i think with those pipes they need some type of high temp silicone applied to be leakproof.Maybe someone else can give you a better idea on that.

Heres the crate my brother made for me.With the motor and full of packing,it weighs 106 pounds.

In all reality,i haven't been that happy with mine.I've never really sat down and got it dialed in perfect yet,but it doesn't seem as good as it could be.Might be selling mine with the billet protector,but not sure yet.Gonna mess with it some more.

The engine is complete except for the flwheel and controller,right.How much would you like to get for it.is the controller hard to come by or can it be bought from the dealer.

If its really gonna cost you that much,you should find a place that will ceramic coat them.I had mine done by Jet-Hot coatings and they are just as good as chrome.Probably even holds up better than chrome.

I would say just try the Rockets out first before you sell it.Your only gonna be out $40 if you don't like them.I couldn't believe the difference they made from going from Pro Circuits to them.Sure beats busting out $500 for CPI's if you don't have to.

Thanks for trying to get me there Meat,but I'm probably not gonna have my shee ready by then.If all else fails,i'll just bring my brothers Mojave just so i can see what the riding is like out there.As long as my cousin doesn't start school by then,a ride not the problem.Maybe if you have another one in the fall i can try to make it,at least then i'll have the Shee back and better than ever.

What brand timing plate is it?And how much?

I have a Pro Design cool head with 18cc domes or 22cc domes.The intake is Pro Design made for V-Force reeds.It has the boost bottle and is for the 26-28mm carbs.Was looking to get $125 for the head.And $125 for the intake.Also i only have a pic of the head shell and the 18cc domes for now,but i'll get pics of the rest by Monday at the latest.Heres the pics.

I have a cable that didn't work with my thumb throttle.But i'm really not sure if its for a twist throttle or not.I can take a pic if you think it would help.Not looking to trade,but if you want it,just pay shipping and its yours.

No,its not supercharged,but it has the 3800 motor in it.We're going to check tomorrow to see if the motor is really done for or not.I'm in south-western part,on the Wv/Pa line.

I was wondering if it would be worth my time to part out a car we have.The motor is shot but the body and other stuff on it is in great shape.Would i just be wasteing time or do you think maybe it would sell.Its a 93 pontiac bonneville.

I have a set of never been used,Upp boots.But i doubt they will work if you want to use them with 33mm carbs.These are for 26 or 28mm carbs.

I first rode a banshee in the summer of 2001 when i bought mine.Fastest thing i ever rode before that was a mojave.When i first unloaded it off the truck,i went out on a dirt road that went into an open hard top road.So needless to say i opened it up,and it scared me a little when the powerband kicked in.But i loved every second of it.Ever since i've been adding the mods to keep that scared feeling going.

I'm a big guy too,about 6'2 275 and like everyone says pipes and filter with a bolt on flange should be your first mods.Suspension would be something to look into as well.I like to jump and haven't had a problem yet with my suspension,but thats what i plan on doing next,getting shocks valved for my weight.

If you can't find CPI's.I have a set of Pro Circuit pipes if your interested.

Its gonna be a sad day thats for sure if we lose this site.This site is one of the main reasons that i bought a banshee,after reading about it here.I use to never work on anything myself,but i have learned enough to do it.This is only site that is 100% dedicated to banshee's,and thats what makes it stand out,none of that other bs,but lately things have changed.Hopefully everything cools down and we can go back to they way things were.If not,it was nice knowing ya.
