  1. Only thing i know is don't buy that cheap stuff on Ebay.It comes in a thick sheet and you peel off what you need.I don't know if it was the race fuel of if its just terrible, but it turned to powder. And when i took my silencers apart, there wasn't much left inside.
  2. I had mine cut too and then use the Rz drum and forks with a modded shift star.I'm still waiting on my swingarm to come,so i can't tell how much better it is,but i think i paid $175 or so to have it done, not really sure.
  3. Since you guys are on the topic. How does the arm where the cable connects come out.I've pulled on it,tapped on and it doesn't seem to budge.
  4. Would you want to sell just the new style Rocket silencers?Who makes the stator plate,or is it a modded stock plate.
  5. Do you still have the frame,if so how much?
  6. My brother has them on his Mojave and they have held up really good for the past 3 or 4 years hes had them.Only time hes had trouble is when the bottom gets hung up on something. They are a really heavy tire, but that shouldn't really effect anything since a shee has alot more power than the mojave does.As far as when you reverse them,we tried them in snow.I felt it did help, but my brother didn't,so take as you want.Maybe other people have tried them in sand .
  7. I think hes done this before. But that time he was selling a set of plastic.I think being that you paid with a money order, you should be able to get your money back.Better get in touch with the Post Office.
  8. If you still need them i have them.Make me an offer.
  9. If the fuel valve isn't gone,i'll take it.
  10. Heres the reply i got from Dan@Patriot Racing: "For a ported motor you must use Wiseco Pro Lites. The Vito pistons have gotten better but with a ported motor they arent necessary and in fact most cases cant be used as they increase the port timing too much." Being that you have a woods port,it might not matter so much, but i still wouldn't risk it.
  11. I have the intake with boost bottle, but never used spacers.I don't think i changed my jetting any when i put mine on.From what i've read on here and other places, the spacers really just help move your carbs back so they don't hit the clutch arm.I liked the intakes, but the boost bottle seemed like it was in your way when you were trying to do stuff.Thats why i'm selling it and getting the one with a built in cross-over.
  12. I have the RKT head that Wallrat posted.Haven't had a chance to put it to use yet.I've also owned Pro Design, and personally i would never own one again.I had problems with the o-rings sealing on the domes and causing coolant to burn. Can't beat the price and service when you get a Noss head.
  13. I have an 86 Tecate 3 that i'm in the process of rebuilding.Motor just got done, but i still need some stuff to get it going, but i'm hoping to have it done to ride in the summer.
  14. Put the stuff on Ebay now.Bar clamp and speedo stuff has been sold. Ebay PArts
  15. Figured i would put this up in case anyone needed anything. Stuff on Ebay
  16. I got it done on mine, but i haven't gotten my motor back yet.If you know someone who has access to an EDM ,it probably wouldn't cost you much.I'm thinking it was $175 to have it done from Patriot Racing, but i'm not positive.
  17. I'm probably 30 miles or so from you guys.I'm close to Uniontown, but not many places to ride where i am.People are getting their trees logged out and tearing up the trails.
  18. I figure the only he has on the boat is compass. The reason i was thinking a portable one is because the boat stays in Va and we're in Pa,so it could get stolen when we're not there.
  19. My dads birthday is coming up soon and hes been wanting a GPS ever since he got his boat.I'm wanting to buy him one,but theres alot to choose from.Theres a few that are made for marine use only, and then you have the ones that do a little bit of everything. He fishes out in the ocean and the bays so this would make things easier for him. What i was wondering, would it be better to get a marine only GPS or one that does it all.Let me know your opinions. Thanks,Steve
  20. Yes,the clamp is for the 1 1/8 bars.I have all the sensors and cable for the speedo,i just haven't taken any of it off yet.Was just checking if anyone was interested in it before i took it off completely.
  21. I think the only way it would be worth it is if you knew you were going to stay the same gearing the entire time you own your banshee.I'm thinking its close to $300 for the chain and sprocket kit.
  22. Actually i think i better hold on to my axle for now because i don't have a replacement for it yet,and i might not have any extra money for an axle yet.
  23. I have a few parts that are taking up space and need to sell.Figured i would try here before i put them on Ebay. The only thing i have a set price for is the Trail Tech speedo and big bar clamp.i would like to get $50 for the speedo and $60 for the big bar clamp with speedo mount.Everything else, just make a decent offer.Heres the pics stock swingarms,1 grey 1 dark green stock carrier, brake disc and brake hub(gonna hold on to axle for now) billet bar clamp, speedo and protector stock sprocket hub,1 stud bad, stock adjusters, other hardware for hub stock intake with crossover and blue UPP boots If anyone wants to trade their big bar clamp with key slot for mine,i'll make them a better deal.If you need more pics or any questions, just ask.
  24. If your looking to go for long trail rides, the shee might not be the best choice.Sure you can buy the big tank, but it still doesn't beat being able to pull in the gas station and filling it up.Speed wise,i doubt the 400ex will beat either of those in stock form, but you'll have better handling.I wouldn't trade my shee for anything, but i would like to have a 4-stroke for trail rides.
