  1. Tamers aren't very puncture proof and wouldn't be the best choice for XC racing.Holeshots aren't bad until you ride on pavement, then they start wearing quick. They make a Holeshot just for XC racing.I think now alot of the guys run Razr 2's.For XC you need a tough tire that won't get a hole in it after the first lap.Something at least 4 ply,no less.
  2. Do you have the idle kit installed in yours? This is from the Nacs Racing catalog, but the parts numbers might be the same. Its part#M01-813,but it only works if you have the conversion kit and idle kit.
  3. You can get a stock crank rebuilt, but for the cost, your better off just getting a new one.TDR wants $300 -$350 for a stock rebuilt crank to their specs.Or you can get a new Hotrods crank for $400.
  4. I have the Duner port from Patriot Racing and i'm really happy with it.It seems to have alot of torque and wants to keep pulling on the top-end.I know theres a few on here who have Passion porting, maybe they can chime in on theirs.
  5. The yellow are the Ultimate line of wheels.I know they cost alot more, but have you checked the weight on the Ultimate wheels.
  6. I think these are the prices. 225 raw 325 chrome
  7. Thats the way to do it if your looking to save some money. If you don't want to mess with it yourself,go here:Temp Gauge There used to be someone on here who made a poly "T" fitting that would work with a temp gauge and it was also a small inline cooler.
  8. I had Pro Circuits with the Dune port i have, and they worked great. They seemed to want to pull forever in the top, like Rocketboy said.I've never tried T5's,but the bottom end wasn't bad at all. This might make your decisions harder, but the Rockets are even better than the Pro Circuits. They were a big improvement over the PC's,bottom and top.
  9. I found the studs.Pm me your address and i'll get them sent out.
  10. I think i still have mine somewhere,i'll pm you if i do.
  11. Is this what the front slider looks like.Does it replace the bottom roller?
  12. ASV makes some nice levers. And in the pics, they seem to be shorter than stock.I remember seeing another brand on the K&K website. ASV site K&K site K&K sells RTC levers, they don't look to be short like the other ones are.
  13. I plan on buying a Sirius so i can listen to Stern once he moves there in 2006.But if had a choice,i would go with the Xm and their cheaper monthly fees.Only thing that is helping Sirius is the fact that they have Stern and they better hope he pays off because they are paying him $500 million. As far as your choice,do you want NFL,Stern and $13 a month,or MLB,$10 a month, and whatever else they have going for them.
  14. I clicked on the links in your other thread too and i would say if your serious about getting one of those, the JJ&A axles look alot better than the other ones. But i think what they mean by "play" is generally dune use.I remember seeing an ad in Dirtwheels of a company that sells titanum axles for around $700.Why not get your axle powder chromed or ceramic coated?Would be alot cheaper.
  15. DirtWheels and 4 Wheel Atv Action are published by the same company and usually have the same test and reviews.DirtWheels just has more ads.I like ATV Sport, but theres not enough pages.Someone needs to make a magazine thats thick like Dirtwheels, but without the 95 pages of ads, more quad related tests, reviews, riding areas, stuff like that.I know ads pay the bills, but Dirtwheels is getting ridiculous.
  16. My brother bought it and i was kinda disappointed in how it was.I think there was too much hype how great it was gonna be,and then when everyone got to play it,they weren't impressed. Some of the changes they made i feel made the game worse. The first Halo is alot better than this one for sure.
  17. I have one for my 2001 and it wasn't any easier in install the bracket.I had to drill out the holes and bend the bracket so it would line up.Even then i didn't get it perfect so i will still have to mess with it.But its good enought to get a reading. It does seem to track the speed slowly, but i think if i get it lined up better, that will be fixed.I bought the billet clamp thing and i'm glad i did,i don't think i would trust that plastic mount.
  18. I can see them now.I wasn't able to at first.
  19. FMF made a kit that looked just like that. Not sure if they still do or not.
  20. Even in the instructions i got from Jet-Hot,they say to use a non abrasive aluminum polish.Wenol,Wax Shop,Mothers,or Never Dull, any of those is what they reccomend.
  21. Looks like DirtRider finally found a place he can fit in.His spelling is a dead give-away.Sorry for the people who aren't a member of Bluetraxx. DirtRiders new home
