Intercom, "What kind of fountain drinks do you have?" Employee1, "Fountain drink, what a fountain drink? Hold please." Employee1, "Guy at drive through order drink, what a fountain drink"? Employee2, " Isa soda." Employee1, "Soda? He say fountain drink like Ima stupid." Employee 1 to customer, "Why jou no say soda stupid?" Sound familiar? Plagiarized from a stand up comic.

No, that's a completely custom frame that only he builds. If you look close you will see that the A-arms actually cross each other and attach to the other side of the frame. That is the grand Pooba of long travel. I don't think anyone else makes anything quite like it. From what I read the builder left the ATV world to become a capenter or something along those lines.

Yes they are, they are built by the same guy that builds the Cheetahs and the Cubs. They are more popular over at PS. Check out some of the videos over there of these things. The have one with a turbo on it in a Banshee frame on a Dyno. The thing really tries to pull off the dyno every time it builds boost.

Would that stand to reason that the big reed conversions don't show much benefit until you step up to the larger strokers? I'm just asking, it just kind of adds up that the Cub making more power(in the case) than the Cheetah, really negates the 250 reeds on anything smaller than the 10mil, which I'm going to guess is somewhere around 500cc give or take depending on bore. It's kind of like asking the difference between standard Banshee jugs and RZ jugs. As far as top end power goes they are just about even with the nod toward the Banshee jugs at the top level of performance, but the PV of the RZ jugs make it so a psuedo drag/dune port can be trail ridden with little effort. I am speaking from experience.

It's been done. One was on Ebay a while ago, but I'm sure the listing has long since expired.

I wish I didn't witness this same thing everyday. I don't know when it happened, but somebodies ethnic backgroung has now become their handicap.

What SMALL trucks does a banshee fit in?
broke replied to Joshtruction's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I know a Banshee with +2 a-arms and +4 axle fits in my 01 S-10, but it is a bitch to get it over the wheel wells. -
The 250R is still my quad of choice. Riding the 450R to me is like sleeping with an ugly chick. As much fun as it may be, I could never get past the looks. There is a different engine in the works, so the 250R is better for a transplant to me. Silverback, please send pics to [email protected]

How not to take a picture of your cat!
broke replied to Shee_Rookie's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I DON'T have a picture of any of my cats, wanna see? -
A link to this one would help also.

Even just a link to there would help.

Hardcore sledder is the internet equal of BansheeHQ. snowest is like Planetsand, it's a very informative site with some of the most knowedgable snow freaks on the planet, but sometimes what they say is a little over my head

Thanks for the offer and it looks like a very nice bike. I'm hoping to find something a little more along the lines of a XC quad.

I've raced him and there is no way he weighs 90 pounds, 70 soak and wet at best. He is fast, I won't argue that. I don't think they will ever build a bike that likes to be tuned more than the Banshee. The Raptor stock will definately beat it, so what, a lot of bikes will. Give me a 1000 ft and we'll see who is the king of the dirt. Screw that 300 ft bullshit, all that shows to me is who hooks better, not who's faster. Give me a nice long lake run like a sled race and 99 times out of a hundred, I'll beat the 4 stroke. I had to guess quite a bit of what chico typed, but I think I got the general idea.

There used to be a guy on here and PS that explained how a boost bottle could be of benefit on a twin cylinder two stroke if that bottle was specifically made for that motor. None of this cookie cutter one size fits all shit. He went by the name Sainty on here, I beleive it was actually John Saint. VERY smart guy that knew entirely too much about these motors. He had formed some kind of partnership with a company to build a new pipe and shortly after was diagnosed with an illness that forced him to leave the US for insurance reasons. I don't know if he's still around, I did a search and he hasn't posted anything since Sept. of 02. Here is his web site which doesn't work for me, but I guess it's worth a try. http://www.stealthengineering.com/

When I see port and polish I really just put the person that said in the class of the ones that don't know what they actually have. They just know what somebody else told them they have.
-
Yes they are, you will also need the flywheel and maybe the regulator also. You will need to get a wiring diagram of both because their is going to be some cutting and splicing to be done.
-
You might want to rethink the Cubs, they won't be worth a shit at the Badlands, I rode a set of mildly built Cubs and they aren't even close to what I would want in those tight trails.
