  1. 04ShEeLE Are you really an idiot or do you just play one on this site?
  2. It's a good start. 4 mils are good running motors. Vitos mono and the Cheetah are different cylinders completely, the CP Industries cylinders are definately reccomended over all the others brands. The big motors will defiantely be slowed by the single carb, but it will still work if that's what you really want to run. Alba's full of shit on the V-Force comment. I have never seen a motor that didn't like them, alky motors have been known to eat them though. T-6s should probably be scrapped for the T-5s if you are going for anything over a very minor build. Like I said earlier, you have a good start, but don't just go by Dirtwheels retailers when building a motor, consult an actual builder.
  3. We have one for our English Mastiff. The training was the most important part. Unfortunately on whatever setting, my dog would just wander across the line. It took a while, walking, installing flags, removing them. But now our underground fence doesn't even work anymore and she won't leave the yard even to chase something. Instead of the pain of the zap, which she obviously didn't mind, it was just a reminder to her that she was nearing the line that we taught her was the end of her yard. But, it's still a loose dog. I love when somebody comes to the front door and sees my dog running toward them which really does look like a scene from Turner and Hooch.
  4. Not to be the asshole here, but how does that differ from N.O.?
  5. I'm not even sure I want to post this, because yours may go better than mine did. Mine would probably fall under worse case senario. All four of them were impacted, the bottom ones had pushed forward enough to wear holes in the teeth in front of them. They actually formed cavities under the gum line. Needless to say, I had all six teeth pulled at once. My dentist sent me to an oral surgeon, because he said that it would be cruel to try what they needed to do with a concious patient After the drugs wore off the next morning, it felt like I was hit in the head repeatedly with a bat, it really was that bad. Tylenol3, Vicodin, and Darvacet(sp), had almost no use with out a Heineken or 3 thrown in. I had them done on Friday, slept until Saturday, still hoped to die on Sunday, slept through work on Mon, Tues, and Wednesday. Thanfully I work with a good crew that just me sleep in the truck. By Thursday I was starting to eat pasta, but it took close to two weeks before chewable food was even an option. Sorry, but that's how bad mine went. My wife was fine four hours after hers, go figure.
  6. Cheetahs are great motors, Trinity sucks. I can PM you a horror story about Trinity's Cheetah motor, but I won't post it. RZ's are great motors, just a little complex to wire. I have a ported +4 RZ motor that is insanely fast. For the way I ride and where I ride, it's still "almost" too much. The Cheetahs, especially the big ones, will definately make more power, but at what expense and is that really what you need. If you know the crank has issues, you might want to just ditch it and start with a stroker up front. The price of the crank really isn't any more that a stock stroke.
  7. Go with Jim, Dan, Dan, Andy, Jeff, Buddy, etc. I didn't name any shops because they all build good motors. I have motors from two of the above and they are both great. Check with the builder about set up and what you want the outcome to be. I can say that Jims motor is a freak. How he manages that much low end with a top end that screams is beyond me. P.S. Trinity sucks. Can anyone tell me why they charge $450 to MX port a cheetah?
  8. I've got a stock thumb throttle, but no cable. $25 shipped
  9. I've got a set of hubs, but no wheels.
  10. Not too impressive? You don't have a clue.
  11. I've got a set of white front plastics Rear shock Frame Airbox and a set of front lights, but the grills are screwed.
  12. No, it's for the sleeves and most likely pistons.
  13. I bought one like that, he kept telling me it was a wheely bar and it was supposed to be like that.
  14. I am interested. Does the quad have 84 or 85 electronics? Are the pipes built to mount directly? Does the motor already have flanges? IS all the wiring complete with all components? Can we get some pics? Send them to [email protected] , I'll host them.
  15. I'm so lonely.
  16. http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf.../gonew/1#UNREAD I couldn't afford it, but 3.5X at 92 MPH is cruising.
  17. I think alot of that depends on the motor. If you have had some serious port work done there is less area left for the rings to ride on, therefore wearing the rings quicker. Duece, if you exhaust port is anywhere near the size of mine, considering the same type of motor from the same builder, you may be looking at reduced ring life. Hey, you gotta pay if you wanna play. Reringing for the most part is cheap, easy and gives me some piece of mind. I will probably do mine every winter which should amount to 50ish hours. Kids don't leave a whole lot of free time. That's my stand point on this, at least.
  18. It's worth it to send your jugs a pretty far distance to get the right port work done. Dan at Patriot did my first set of stock stroke jugs. I actually sold them to a member on here after two years of riding. They ran great, I was just looking to go a little faster. So a new motor was built, I decided to go with a +4 and the 12 port just seemed like the logical set up. Jim and Dan build great motors and are both very respected builders. Some talk about the dreaded midrange mis that their 12 ports have had. The PVs must hide it or eliminate it completely because mine does not have it.
  19. I've got one. A little bit of rust but other than that it's in nice shape. I can send you a pic, just need an email. Make me a good enough offer to get my fattening ass up and put it in a box and it's yours.
  20. Hahaha, there's a good one. Real answers like, why does an MX port on a Cheetah jug cost $450 dollars? Why does a Cheetah jug have welding flash in one of the cylinder bolt holes when it's a cast piece? Why does an unported Cheetah jug have a bigger exhaust port than the $450 ported jug? If you want real answers stay the hell away from Trinity. Sorry Rocketpig, you are the only good thing I have seen out of Trinity in a long time.
  21. We all want to know.
  22. Now what if your 68 "peak" hp motor made ten less hp every where else but a 1000rpm spread on top because you put a high end pipe on a mid range cutting. I had a mildly ported stock jug motor and it was faster with a set of PTR mids than with my CPIs. The motor just wasn't built to run with kind of exhaust duration that the CPIs needed. I then went to a set of MX ported RZ jugs with 196 degrees of ex. dur. that was faster on top with a set of Rockets, but lost HP everywhere under 8500rpms. The PTRs in turn pulled better everywhere but above that point. I then went to a set of 12 port RZ jugs with a +4 crank with around 200 degrees that severly over matched the PTRs, but run like a scolded dog with the Rockets. I didn't want this to trun into an aguement and I hope it still hasn't. I just wanted to explain why his motor "might" be slower with a set of high end pipes.
  23. How much would revving higher help if his jugs were cut to work with the T-5s? If you have some more along the lines of a mid range port, wouldn't a high revving pipe hurt most of the way across the board until the RPMs get in the range the pipes would work best? The graph looks pretty good to me, Banshee's just seem to have that dip right before they come on the pipe. Numbers on a dyno are useless, it's the shape that really matters. Put it on a dyno that reads 10hp higher, would it make you happier even though you know it made 10 less on another dyno? Probably not, a 63hp quad is a good running quad to me. Now a 73hp quad that isn't any faster than the 63hp quad is still a good running quad, just not a better running quad.
  24. That asshole unfortunately is from around here. I actually work with one of his diciples. I refer to him as baby Farrakhan. I have no trouble with being proud of your race, hell I am, the human race. I'm amazed we have lasted this long with people like that pissing in their gene puddle. Being a racist is even fine with me in a strange sort of way, a separatist is something I have a bigger problem with. Not liking another person for any reason is a God given right, like it or not. But someone that goes out their way to keep their race separate, and to them at a higher level, has bigger issues than a racist ever will. I work at a very diverse company and people of all races have issues with Lewie. I work with very good people, both black and white. I also work with some shithead, both black and white. The "N" word to me applies to all races, not just one.
