  1. time for new axle. i hear those g forces are supposedto be pretty good. i personally run all LSR...
  2. dont think you are gonna find out of frame rockets. to my knowledge none were ever actually made. closest thing youll get is GRR suicide pipes like what NYUK had on his bike.
  3. i think on the bigger motors the big intakes would work but on a 4mm i dont see any point of them. when i got my cairo shit put together we went down to that dyno in topeka. jeff had a guy there with cr125 reeds in his, supposedly supposed to be makin some big hp numbers. it made 1 more hp than what it did without the big reed conversion. i think he pulled 72 hp that day. mine pulled 77. needless to say that dude was pissed. i wonder what jeff ever did about that. on a 10mm motor i can def see how it would help tho. i think rick even said there was no point of doing it on anything smaller than a 10mm..
  4. you prolly need to defragment it or do some other kind of clean up on it. im sure someone will explain better what to do.
  5. ok sounds like you are a little confused here. first off does that head have o rings or use a gasket like a completely stock banshee motor? if you have both installed its not gonna be right. im sure that it is an o ring type head. sounds to me like the fucked up o rings OR head gasket was pressurizing the coolant system and pushing it out the over flow. did you install both a gasket and o rings when you re assembled it?? if so, thats your problem..
  6. track, dyno whatever. id still like to see some results. i have no doubt that these things will rip. after all, andy did come up with the rockets and i am very happy with them..
  7. anytime the US gives money to another country its a fuckin waste...tons of people here that need it just as bad.
  8. can you mix other brand sprockets with the rk chain? just wondering in case you ever broke on or anything. personally ive always run DID chains and primary drive sprockets..never had a problem..
  9. you never have to adjust it. it automatically adjusts itself. i liked mine when i had it. they are just expensive and if something goes wrong they are expensive to fix..
  10. itll work. they are all the same...just buy the one for the 2002..
  11. More than 5 g'.s .....Crank alone is $1350.00 and the cylinder bare no nicasil before porting is $2000.00 . Porting (depends on the builder) can run up to $600.00 and then add $350.00 for nicasil and then you will need v force reeds and carbs (on my 16mill cheetha they are Mikunis taken out to a 41) setup for alky is another $650.00 plus filers. Then you have case work that will run around $550.00 and it keeps going and going. Plan on spending around $8000.00 + just depends on what pieces you already have. Lockup, pvl ignition, pipes to match, straight cut gears, override trans cut will keep the cost down. It sucks paying all that money but as the old saying goes (SPEED COST MONEY) 505 387966[/snapback] yea thats what i figured..big motors cost big money...
  12. BIIIG FISH, click here!!!
  13. you are prolly talkin about the guys runnin street bike engines in dirtbike frames. thats a totally different class than what the ktm550 is in. you are talking the difference between a 600cc class single big bore versus open class 4 cylinder street bike motors. i guarantee that ktm bike is in the top 5 anywhere. ive seen it run on many different hills and it flat hauls and can only be topped by experienced riders with really hopped up bikes...and also, you are talking glamis, we are talking 300 to 500 foot dirt hillclimbs. huge difference there..
  14. you plan on makin money from this? not too many people gonna give you their videos for free so you can make money...
  15. im not married but from what ive seen from married people around me youll need to practice this... im sorry, im sorry, im sorry... haha congrats man
  16. what kinda bike? what kinda carb?
  17. no wonder you are so faassst...
  18. that was my first thought. 300 main sounds about right for your mods and elevation. thats what we run here with t5's
  19. hmm wonder y cubs are really good cylinders thats for sure. from now on ill settle for nothing less...
  20. should is the key word here. dyno results are showing the cubs making just as much if not more. why spend the extra money on the big ones if its not needed? like stated above. it all depends on setup. motor is not the only thing that wins races. do u know what it costs to build a 14, 16 etc motor??? you are talking like 5 g's if not more easily...
  21. i dont run LT and never have. waste of money for a banshee in my opinion...
  22. yea i agree it could possibly be better on deekens hill, but on a hill like mankato, new ulm or red wing its damn near an uphill drag race. i think itll really shine there. yea, as long as im in the band its pullin. luckily i have the control down to where i can keep it there all the time. others may not be as skilled. yea i can always go faster. im pissed becausel ats climb i ran a 7.048 and a 7.045. i wanna hit 6's real bad. my times were fast enough, but not fast enough for me. yea, for now im gonna run it as it is. seems to be working good so far..
  23. ben, you get the frame and motor and ship it my way. itll be a good winter project...youll have the fastest 250r around..
