  1. if you arent runnin hardcore mx standard travel will be plenty for you. or unless you just have a bunch of money to blow. most people will never feel the benfits of LT suspension..
  2. im always in the powerband i dont know, it would be interesting to test. i feel like right now im going as fast as i possibly can and cant imagine running much faster unless i had a bigger motor. im assuming decking my cylinders would bring the power on lower down in the rpm range. i sure would like to try it, but not with my motor i dont have a problem keeping in the powerband thats for sure. i watch my videos over and over to watch my lines and what not and never hear an instance where i come off it.
  3. those are fuggin sweet. cant wait to hear how they perform..
  4. i have a full set of yamaha aluminum rims. they came off my raptor but will fit right on your banshee. few scracthes here and there but over all good shape. lemme know if interested
  5. what kinda riding do you do? and to get most power you will most def need to switch carbs.
  6. cr500 stock uses 38mm keihin...for future porting id go with 33mm pwk...
  7. gimme pictures pleeeeeease. i have a craptor im building and might need parts...
  8. good price man. someone will prolly eat this up. you willing to split it up??
  9. i agree, but i buy them anyway...
  10. yea just get rid of the junk stocker and buy an aftermarket. cotton eyed joe can get you set up...
  11. yea i thought u might have been talking about sand. 500's would just dig a hole id think...
  12. go with 33mm pwk. on my bros old motor they helped a ton. he also had a gorr woods port. even on a stock bike i think youll notice a pretty good difference.
  13. id go down to a 45 pilot and go up one size on the main. see how that runs.
  14. i run a billet boss intake. its a good lookin piecethat works very wel.. passionre here sells them.
  15. if you want shocks id go with the elka dune edition. when i ordered my elkas for the raptor project i just ordered straight thru elka. as for a arms, looks like sand dragons would hold up pretty well..
  16. how can you really replace the banshee? with a 4 stroke? get real, not happening. it will never be replaced. fortunately for all fo us the aftermarket side is growing by the minute. you can pick up a 2000 - 2003 banshee for next to nothing. keep your kfx and when the time is right jump on a used banshee. mod the hell out of it and youll have the best of both worlds. no sense in buying a brand new one when all youll do is get rid of the stock junk anyway and replace with aftermarket.
  17. what kinda dummy would put a cbr motor in a craptor frame?? hell the motor is smaller...
  18. word...
  19. im with 9603, if i build another motor itll be a 10mm cub...the cubs run hard and i dont see the PV being worth the extra money at this point in time.
  20. jeff does build good motors and he can build you a cub motor as well. his turn around time is prolly gonna be less than that of thie big name guys, but you wont see any decrease in quality or performance. he built a cub motor for 9603banshee as far as i know. i would check with him and see how he likes it. good thing about cub cylinders is that they need very little in the "building" department. out of the casting they are pretty much ready to run.
  21. setup is everything. there are 350's that can put a spankin on 10mm bikes.
  22. i would go with mod quad anyday over cascade....they are also a sponsor of HQ and you get a discount thru them..check them out. www.modquad.com
  23. 20x11x9 kenda knarly. i been runnin mine for quite a while now on the street, dirt and sand. they wear good and hook good in dirt and sand. plus they are cheap. i highly recommend them...
  24. klotz running out by your sprocket? does klotz make gear oil? there shouldnt be any oil dripping out there. yes there is a seal there. can u get some pictures maybe?? sounds to me like you need to replace that seal in there which i think requires spilitting the cases. and even if it doesnt, more than likely if u have one seal bad there are others...
  25. there is a way to pc stock arms but im not exactly sure how. i hear its a pain tho. my powder coat guy has done it but he says its not hardly worth the hassle...
