  1. its new to most people in this forum, thats why there is a 6 page thread about it. im sure hes not the only one that sells them but his customer service is next to none and most times that sells more products than a big name company and lower prices. i know im willing to spend a few more bucks if i can get on the phone with a guy and have him walk me through something. im sure the same goes for EVERYONE who buys from Jeff... Jeff, wheres my shirt punk ..im wanna start sportin it but the XL is too big...

  4. whats your reasoning with going with 22's?? most people here on this site and everywhere else will be running 20's. i dont think you realize how big the 22's are. they are A LOT bigger than the 20s. i have both out in the shop. ill get a picture for you and let you see the difference. i guarantee you wont be spinning the 22's without gearing down or having about 75 hp...

  7. i would never run anything but wiseco pistons, but thats just me. how much hp are they claiming by using those? i think the money would be better spent with some porting.

  9. yea man go with 20's. thats what i run on my 450 and banshee. i bought a set of 22's for the project bike but its gonna need them. i wouldnt run more than 20s on my other bikes tho. call them back and order the 20x11x9...gearing is a minor issue and can be fixed easily.
  10. A&S 421 cheetah cub motor. 35mm pwk, rocket pipes. my old cylinders made 77 hp and these have a lot more. im guessin right around 90.

  13. i have video i just need to get it on here. stephen took 2nd behind the goofball that kept throwin shit on every one. i got knocked out quick due to my dumbass tryin to run the 4 snow tires. they killed my shifting. missed 4th to 5th shift in my first race but barely won. 2nd and 3rd races i missed the shift to 3rd. oh well, fuck it. buddy of mine rode my bike afterthat and took 3rd, stephen beat him... there were clearly 2 different lanes. left lane was hookin real hard throwin chunks of dirt. right lane hard as fuck and throwin dust...it was still pretty fun..ill get video up sometime soon.
  14. i jsut bought the full set of elkas for the cbr600rr raptor. the fronts are triple rate fully adjustable piggy back rezzie for 850..the rear is a dual rate with remote rezzie that i paid 850 for...them bitches are bad ass. i dont think they offer dual rate for raptor but my banshee elkas are dual rate.

  16. thats more what im thinking. that pilot shouldnt have anything to do with it. in the winter you would want the jetting to be richer, so going up on the pilot now that its warmer doesnt make any sense. what was the jetting this winter? in particular the main jet? youll need to go down prolly 2 main sizes for sure.
  17. sure you can jump a banshee, but stock shocks arent gonna cut it if you wanna go even halfway big. aftermarket shocks would be a must, and a arms would be right there with them. so you are looking prolly between 1000 and 2000 bucks right off the bat. then theres the swinger. stock ones suck. adjustment sucks and they bend easily. so theres another 500 or so bucks. personally if it were me and i was mainly concerned about jumping id buy a yfz450. right out of the box they are jumpin mo fros. i would never try and ride a banshee on the track again after riding my 450.

  19. ok lets get this straight right now. i NEVER took that quote from PS to "talk shit" on anyone. we had a 7 page thread about the cub cylinders a while back where someone mentioned the words "detuned". when i saw that dan had said i just got a kick out of it. i never once questioned dans intelligence and never once insulted him. go back and read, and youll see that. now the reason im quiet on PS is because i dont have anything to say over there. im not a hardcore drag racer like you and the rest of them. i hillclimb with my bikes, not run them down a flat track. its fun and all, but i would much rather be hillclimbing which is what i do best. if i had a technical question about a motor then sure id post up there. but i havent, so you dont see much posting from me. its not that im stupid or whatever you are implying with your comment, its that i have nothing to say. if i did have a question chances are i could make a call to garret thompson, jeff wendorff or rick cairo and get it answered. not to mention the fact that if you go against the grain over there, you might as well forget about anyone taking you seriously. i mention the words "rocket pipes" there and get my ass chewed. its whatever, no one has to run them i just thought someone might want to?? i got no problem with you or anyone else on PS for that matter. this whole thing gotten taken the wrong way and now everyone is defending their position...

  21. one of my buddies i ride with rides a yz250. hes a real good rider and was talkin shit one day about my banshee...when i ride with him i always take the 450 cuz we either ride track or trails. so hes like yea that banshee cant beat a 250 dirtbike. im like whatever lets do it. we get lined up in the dirt and count it down and bam im gone. hes still spinnin at the line and im fuckin clickin 4th gear...we came back around and hes like holy shit that fucker is fast. he didnt realize how fast my shit is. of course i have a pretty good chunk of change in my motor...bottom line, you arent touchin that 250 4 stroke with your mods.

  23. i have NEVER heard a bad thing about gorr. ive talked to a lot of guys at the hillclimb who highly recommend him as well. pro design makes cool heads for the cr500, but not sure abotu 125. call eric gorr and ask him. im sure he can set you up. he did my buddies cr250 cylinder and its fuckin unreal the power he got for like 200 bucks...
  24. if u like the bend of the stock bars just tell them to match it. itll be close and prolly feel even better. i never had to tell them what bars. i gave them the brand of bike and they sent me what i needed.
