  4. make sure the mounts where the coil attaches to are getting a good ground to the coil. grind the paint off if need be..could be your coil is bad too. mine was dointhe same thing having a weak spark. i replaced it and its fine now.

  7. yea i have the boss on my 4mm cub motor and it looks nice. i have the upp boots on the 10mm and it looks kinda ugly. do they make the boots for 39mm carbs for the boss intake?
  8. hmm, i ran my FAST clutch in my old 4mm cairo motor that made almost 80 hp for a good year. about 10 hillclimbs, 2 dune trips, and about 20 dyno passes with no issues whatsoever. then i ran that same clutch in my 4mm cub motor for a year without a lockup in prolly 10 more hillclimbs, and a dune trip. not to mention all the passes i had in my field testing and tuning..maybe you did set yours up wrong because mine worked great for 2 years on 2 different motors that made more than 70 hp easy.. :shrug:

  10. buy a kicker rebuild kit from rockymountainatv.com they are about 10 bucks..i have one in mine and it works great.

  18. its just the motor. i have a complete 4mm cub ported by FAST sittin on the shelf in case i ever need to run it..just got it all together yesterday. the head i got from you is on it..
  19. me and my brother both have duneable overrides. they work excellent. shift up or down with or without the clutch. ours are 2-4 because for hillclimbing we dont need to get into 5th but i have heard of 2-5. dave moore cut the tranny in my 10mm and redline racing did my bros 4mm cub and my 4mm cub..they all work well..
  20. i think youll be happy with porting from FAST...i would estimate his woods port to be putting out some high hp numbers providing carbs and pipes are right. i would talk to jeff and see what heh as to say about his woods port.

  22. i agree. stock carbs will be more than enough for a mildly ported motor. in fact ive heard stock carbs outflow a stock motor, so it should be about right on a mildly ported one. i see no need to switch carbs now. save your money and wait until youre ready to build a big motor.

  24. sounds like what mine was doing. swap the coil out and make sure its grounded good to those tabs and see what happens...it fixed mine immediately..
