Banshee94

My '94 Banshee recently had a major issue. The short version is the a small chip from the cylinder wall chipped away causing serious damage to the combustion chamber and piston. Which in turn seized the connecting rod on the crank. Since this will require splitting the case and machining of the cylinder walls should I consider turning it into a stroker motor? Any input would be appreciated.
