this race came down to traction. think about it. you weigh 160 pounds on a banshee..its got a on/off powerband as it is. youre geared down manking it break traction even worse. and youre launching in first.. hes on a 4 stroke weighing near 200 pounds. no wheel spin on them anyway..of course hes gonna be gone off the line your first thing is that you need to start in 2nd. i dont care what u need to do but start in 2nd. 1st is just gonna blow the tires off especially with that gearing. what tires u have?? your whole problem is traction...

i would run knarlys or those new itp track stars..

well it sounds like you answered your own question. if the bike is rich then thats part of your problem..

hmm, marine grade?? i think id switch oils if i were you. run some klotz or amsoil or something else. so u think that the cpis are causing this junk and other pipes are fine?

i would go with a trailtech big bar setup..they are reasonably priced and their bars are awesome..i think the bars and clamp run about 125 bucks or so...

sounds like you need to lean up your mixture some. if youre blowing out a bunch of shit that means all the oil is not getting burnt off and theres too much in there. what oil are you runing at what mixture?? i run klotz at 40 or 50:1 and i dont get any junk out the rear end...

redline does awesome work. he did my 10mm cub and my bros 4mm cub. he also did a couple duneable overrides for us. i highly recommend him. dave moore is also another great guy who has done work for me but hes prolly very busy. im sure hed be worth the wait tho..

ill tell you right now outerwares are junk and the only time i run them is in the sand. otherwise the slightest bit of dirt will cause them to plug up. ive run them first hand and experienced that. took them off and my bike ran fine again..no more outwares for me!!

yea i just looked at their auction. its def the same company. claimed prof tig welding and all that. the one my bro got was a 3/4" tube ladder style..maybe their regular ones are fine, i dont know..

derek, my bros might have just been a bad one. but i cant believe theyd advertise it like they did..it was terrible and theres no way i would have ridden on it. the welds looked like the rocket pipe welds. ha. he sent it back and i just built him one..
