  1. so the bitch did it on purpose? thats nice. you did the right thing for sure.. all you guys calling this dude a douche need to step back and think of a time your gf or wife purposefully did something to piss you off.. now, imagine she did something malicious that affected your bike, whether it was just some snow or rain or not.. thats not the kind of shit youd expect from someone you trust, live with or whatever..
  2. dont listen to these dudes. you did the right thing. if shes not smart enough to shut a garage door, just think how much dumber shes going to get as the years go by. good riddance to her.
  3. i used to run a +4 and then went to a +6. honestly between the two there isnt much difference once you have some ride time on them both. obviously the +4 is gonna turn a little better but once you get good on the +6 you can whip it around just as well. i think you could go either way with this, but if you decide on a +6, check this out.. +6 swingarm its a +6 my brother had built from stellar and then decided to go with a +8. great swingarm. very well built and will handle all of your needs.
  4. sweet. you dont need that stupid bitch anyway, plus i bet she smells bad all the time. take her shit back and buy parts for the banshee.. thats a win win situation.
  5. id stay far away from the 450 front end swap.
  6. your pilot size is fine. almost all aftermarket pipes require the 27.5 pilot. have you used the idle screws at all?
  7. JD must not have gotten past 2nd grade in math huh?
  8. hahahaha... quit being fuckin cheap dave!
  9. yes these are also good tires cut or not cut. these actually used to be the trail claw 2's. the company quit making them and went out of business but it seems that STI has bought the mold and started making them again. they are a good tire.
  10. sit tight. there are several members here on HQ that run battery operated lighting systems. one of them will post here at some point.
  11. here are my contributions. yes i have 4, but i own the place.
  12. Hey guys, I think it's about time we have another contest for the banners. I will take the top two banners and use them on the site and the winners will receive their choice of a BHQ hat or beanie when they are ready. Here are the rules for this contest: 1. You must have permission to use the pictures you use. 2. Pictures MUST be action shots. No still shots at the dunes or trails. 3. Originality. Try to make this as original and wild as possible. 4. Slogans are fine but needs to say BansheeHQ or Banshee Headquarters. 5. No cuss words. 6. Banners must be 785x110. Anyone who wants to contribute pictures for this contest can post their action shots here, but please pick your best three shots. I'd like the banners to be diversified meaning that maybe a drag bike on one side and a trail rider on another.. Let's not put the same bike in action shot twice on a banner. These can be collages or whatever you want. I am really wanting to push the creativity on this one. Use bright colors if you want. It's up to you. Good luck. We will probably have a vote sometime in January.
  13. even if you had to give a couple hundred for it, it would still be worth it.
  14. yep, banshees are fun to ride.. welcome to HQ
  15. thanks homie. yours looks damn good too.. if you wanna swap some pics lemme know! of course i have better ones that i show on the forums.
  16. well its pretty easy to get to the kick start assembly. 1. drain coolant by taking off the hose on the front of the clutch cover. 2. drain oil by taking out the drain plug on the bottom of the motor. 3. take off the kick starter. 4. take out the clutch cover bolts. 5. pull off clutch cover. (you may or may not have to take off the brake lever to get it off) once you have the cover off, the kick start assembly just pulls right out. there will be a spring hooked around a little knob inside the case, but you dont have to un-bolt anything to get the assembly out. once you get it out you can replace that clip. then reassemble.
  17. what picture? are you talking about the kick start assembly or the idler gear? the idler gear has a bushing and clip that should be replaced when the idler gear starts to wobble. the kick start assembly and the idler gear are two totally separate parts. oh and welcome to the HQ
  18. yo man, welcome to HQ banshees will always be king of the drag races. a lot of it depends on traction. if the banshee can get out of the hole quickly, the 450 stands no chance.. if the banshee spins and the 450 is gone, in 300' the 450 will probably take it.
  19. i would check the petcock first. if the gas was supposedly off, then the issue lies in the petcock.
  20. wiseco.. but first id figure out why that piston was cracked. could be bigger issues.
  21. it takes the side load off the crank. the straight cuts really arent necessary until you get up over 100hp. if you have the money and want them, it wont hurt you. plus youll have them in case on down the road you go real big.
  22. anyone trying to ride near clearwater dec 30 - jan 10??
  23. western union.. you send me my $55 first and ill western union your $10,000
  24. ive been using the trailtech handlebars with x bars on my banshee and 450 for years now. its an awesome setup. you can get it at rmatv.
  25. Brad, whats going on man? Been a while since youve come around. Sounds like your kids are keeping you busy. Any chance they are going pro one of these days and make you some money? You still playing video games at work?
