Junk and junk. ITP and Maxxis make overpriced and under-performing tires. I have tested nearly every dirt tire out there. You will be most happy with these. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=174 They hook hard and are pretty light weight.

Machine shop could definitely get them out. They're probably rusted inside where the threads are causing them to snap off. -

There are far too many variables in this equation. You might get pretty decent results but without a dyno to check tuning changes on you're somewhat limited. Plus, you've got pipes, domes, timing, fuel and carbs that all play a role. More power to you for trying though. I definitely don't feel comfortable doing my own porting. Sure would be cool though.

It may not be bashing but he is making an uneducated opinion about the pegs. I just about guarantee he has not seen or run Richie's pegs. I have compared them side by side and stood on them. I am in the position to make an educated statement about them. That said, Richie will do custom work. Send him a PM and talk to him about it. If I did not already have my IMS pegs, I would be running Richie's plain and simple. They're solid, look awesome and have more grip than my IMS pegs.
