I've had my FMF silencers for quite a bit. Not a problem. Alot of peeps have had FMF silencers. Not a problem..... I had a pair of brand new billet pipe hangers. One of them snapped in half. I welded it. problem fixed. Lemme ask, did the weld break, or did the material break?

Ebay and change that pig yourself..... Or, pull it and rebuild it yourself. Ford AOD trannys aren't hard... I have a 700 R-4 sittin on my bench at home right now all torn down. Those trannys are bears. Get yourself a book, and a $200 rebuild kit and have at it.

I doubt that gearing alone will let a shee walk away with a win with just pipes. 450's are fast. End of story. it takes a ported bike to beat a 450 in a drag race. Pipes alone will simply not do it.....

I am on state welfare. Edit: I'll tell ya what I really do. Monday through Friday, I am a maintenance/mechanic at a Corp. that makes promotional products. In our department, we also build all our own machinery in house. I design and build high speed automated production machinery. Mechanical and Electrical engineer. I design and build the machines from ground up. Welding the frame, wiring, programming. Machining. EVERYTHING. On the weekends, I bartend. keeps me from spendin $$, and I make money, and get to drink for free!!!!! In the winter, I teach skiing. (downhill) I also do truck suspension and mods..... I can't think of what else right now.....

390, if you're talking about holding the other side of the crank, (the clutch side), than that is a no-no.... remember, that crank is only pressed together. Nedless stress should not be put on it.... Either way, I still stand behind the impact gun... If you have never used one, you don't know what you'r missin...... ANd the flywhel is on a taper lock. It only needs to be tightened to it's torque spec.... But I use an impact for that...... My impact gun on it's lowest setting is about 80 lb./ft. So, I just use that. Works like a charm....

A BFH and BFC. (big fuckin hammer and big fuckin chisel) J/K Use some sand paper. A small pick, and some lacquer thinner..... WOrks like a champ.... Scotch-brite and mineral spirits also works too...

Try your local hardware store.... I got mine there.....
