  1. found the problem. had a piece of trash get into the right side main jet. also found a broken ground wire. fixed both and runs great. also added a fuel filter :biggrin:
  2. i will try cleaning carbs again. has 310 mains, procircuit platinum pipes and k&n in box air filter freshly cleaned. i dont know my altitude, i think it is about 700-800 feet abov. i dont think it is jetting, this happened all at once. war running perfect one min. and like crap the next. also would reeds act like this or not?
  3. my wifes banshee runs/bogs really bad on top end. i just replaced the cdi because it went out. i have tried a new coil i had and it still does it. once in he powerband if over 1/2 throtle it will just fall on its face. i just rebuilt do to a broken ring. it rand perfect, and i was drag racing her with my yfz and she fell back and said it wasnt running right. i hopped on and sure enough. like i said it happened all at once. i cant tell if it both cylinders or just one. i have owned banshees for 8 years now and have never had one do this. any suggestions?
  4. got a 97 shee and it wont start using the kick start. if i push it it will start. was just rebuilt and has good compression. has tors removed. has a new coil. when it is started it runs really well and strong. just wont start using the kick start warm or cold. is it possibly stator or cdi?
  5. for thoes who have ridden on many dunes, how does silver lake and dunes, MI compare. that is all i have been to and i think it awsome, but not big enough
  6. while it has been about 1 1/2 years since i have been on. in the time gone i have bought a yfz450. my banshee needed top end work, and had parts odered, but needed to trail ride the next day, so i went and bought a new quad, and piped and k&n and jets. it an 06 and i love it. my wife has a 96 bansh that is piped and k&n. i rode it trail riding and it made me miss my shee. in the process of making a stroker drag shee. since been on i got married and built a 88 ranger on 9" of lift, 37" tires and a 350 HP 5.0 engine. finnaly got internet. good to chat again. love my 450, but miss the snap of the shee

  8. i have a banshee ported, piped, bigger carbs milled head ect.. any way i have to bore it out, and was wondering what are the best pistons to go with?
  9. do you have a swing arm bolt, front engine mount? do you also have the rad, and tank shrouds if so what color? how much for all shipped to 48617

  13. i need some carbs stock or otherwise with a cable and no tors, a front bumper, gas tank shroug and rad. cover, front fender mounts, and front engine mount bolt thanks -jeff
