  1. Thanks fellows. No Troy I'm gonna need them. Check with surf
  2. Can anyone tell me what the 9 on this dome refers too? I do not know who cut it. The domes came with a top end (4 mil) that has Wiseco 573 pistons
  3. Great seller, great communication, fast shipping. Buy with confidence.
  4. Site 106 for myself, Surfrjag, Lildoobie, and one Celebrity
  5. Just start at the top. Pull the head off and take a look inside. You can't hurt it. Then pull the pipes, carbs and cylinders and see whats going on. You can post pics on here to help with any questions. If you are not comfortable with this, then you should probably find a builder. You can also download a service manual from this site.
  6. Hang in there dude, you're doing great
  7. welcome, your in the right place
  8. Sounds like you need a stator. I've seen honda 250r's run backwards due to a bad timing issue
  9. e-bay all-day
  10. You still got clutch basket, boss, plate? does it come with springs and bolts also?
  11. Maybe your banshee axle is aftermarket, something is different than stock on the 400 or banshee
  12. You can get a vito's 4mil long rod crank with one maxload bearing and one 7 ball bearing for $415.00
  13. Ambush
  14. Don't forget to seal the key way on the clutch side of the crank ^^^^^^^^ THIS^^^^^^^
  15. VITO'S good crank at good price
  16. I think you got it. If your gonna stay with stock stroke, porting will be your biggest gain. Then pipes
  17. The lug pattern is different, but also the hubs will not interchange on stock axles. I got tired of fuckin with it and drilled new holes in my wheels. If you got some douglas wheels, it looks ok cause you can evenly space new holes, but on stock wheels it looks ghetto(works though)
  18. I got 86r and the hubs will not change with banshee.
  19. Almost makes you want it. lmao
  20. I'm betting low compression. You just have to do a test and see for sure. If it is low compression, a new set of rings will help. If you can afford it right now,a fresh top end would be best. take your cylinders to a machine shop and have them measured and prolly gonna need a bore($ 80.00) Then order top end kit size for overbore($200.00). These bikes are very easy to work on. While your down clean those carbs.
  21. They run the best right before they let go. A lean engine is fast for a while, then
  22. How about you buy a copy Rosetta Stone. FFS
  23. If I run 110 octane, how much compression and squash will I have? Thanks
  24. Back your idle screws out so you know they are not hitting when slides come down. There will be a gap at bottom. Set the two adjustment screws on top about the same, then mount carbs and cables. Start taking slack out of cable at throttle and maybe at carbs also. Once you feel no slack you should be able to push throttle all the way forward and release quickly. When you release listen/watch for carbs to go down and they should make a clank sound when they hit bottom. Use the screws on top of carbs for adjustments. Both slides should also lift at the same time. Once you get this, you will use idle screws on side of carb to achieve desired idle.
