  1. Alright I'm going to take it to a shop some time next week and I'll see what they say. I'll let you guys know what happens. Thanks
  2. There was a guy that posted on here but I think he deleted his comment, he said I should replace the crank to or else I may only get about 100 more hours out of it, would the crank be ruined to?
  3. Ohh man I didn't know that! Yeah I deff. Keep away from it.
  4. <a href="http://s289.photobuck
  5. Are there any threads showing how to do that?
  6. I was going to put some pictures of the pistons but I can't figure out how to post pictures
  7. So I checked the compression, the left side got up to 95 psi and the right side only got up to 60. I pulled the heads and the pistons are toast; the left piston is black so I'm assuming there's a crack in the head and its burning coolant. Aside from the damage there, should I pull any thing else apart to make sure it's not damaged to? Or will all the damage most likely be in the top end?
  8. Ok i'll do that and look up the thread, thank you guys.
  9. What would keep it from not firing up without starter fluid?
  10. The whistle noise only comes from the right side, the side with the burnt pipe
  11. I got the bike brand new in 06 straight from the dealer.I had put about 100 hrs on it (if that) by the time i took it to glamis for the first time about three years ago. The only thing I've done to it is put on new pipes (cpi). I've been to Dumont with it and did just fine going up and down comp. all day, but last time I rode it in glamis right when I pulled baxk into camp afyer riding it started reving really high and the right side pipe started turning colors (from the heat) the rubber piece that keeps the silencer connected to the pipe caught in fire so somebody in the camp threw sand on it to put it out and it was done. I've messed with it a couple times I've cleaned the carbs (they had a lot of sand in them) I just put me jets in it but I can't get it to run right. it'll start first kick as long as I'm using starter fluid and it'll idle for a couple seconds before it starts revving really high. It also makes somewhat of a whistle noise every time the kick goes down.
