  1. we had a buddys doing the same thing and we put a coil on it, fixed it, but the coil resistance checked out fine primary and secondary sides, we couldnt figure it out so we started switching parts off mine and when we got to the coil it fixed it
  2. no they dont even care what it goes on as long as you pay the 16.25 all they want is your money but with your avitar and interests they might do a background check

  4. the rod pin moved in one side leaving to much side play in the rod.
  5. yes I do ,never had a problem though, just in case I use a tether kill switch with a short lanyard also make sure the slides are in the correct carbs, look at the sync windows
  6. make sure the carb slides and bores are clean and no burrs after drilling the idle screws, check cable routing
  7. welcome to BHQ I have a prodesign coolhead works great, F.A.S.T racing has a nice head and Jeff is a great guy to deal with! and a lot of the guys like the modquad head, I would pick one of the three I listed

  17. no body on here ever has anything good to say about trinity stuff, I would stay away from it.
  18. not to technical , in the wrong place, put it in mods and repairs and you might get a answer, but don't be a jackass or no one will help you, ask nicely, does it use coolant now? if so blown headgasket, if not it might have just baked a plug. did you pay attention to it being a holliday weekend most were out doing family things this weekend!

  20. don't hone it just put it back together it will be fine. the guys having problems with the namura pistons were building high horsepower engines. the namura pistons are made like the stock ones and should be fine in your case.

  22. it also needs a lock nut on the threads so they don't move all the time and strip out . I have 5/8 chromemoly joints on mine. you can get them from the chassis shop at silver lake mi

  24. welcome to BHQ get an extended throtle lever, or in time you'll get used to it. don't go with a twist throttle the suck on a quad! check plugs ,clean carbs, clean air filter, check jetting.
