if you are trying to spit the cases? yes you have to remove those. do yourself a favor and get a flywheel puller from one of the site sponsors for under $20 so you dont ruin the flywheel! also buy a clymers manual they are very good to have on hand

by the looks of those I would say get them bored and put new pistons in. send them to F.A.S.T racing and get it done right the fist time.he's a site sponsor.

I think that you need a o ring between the dome and the head up by the sparkplug area. If you go to vito's site there are 6 o rings in his kit.

does the clutch not release or not enguage? if not enguaging take the springs back off and turn the pressure plate in the basket to a different position it will only fit in the correct spot

just leave the engine off put the bike in nuetal and have a buddy push you then you should beat the 300ex! as long as your buddy can walk fast

realy? I did not know that. mine came brand new with the non resister plugs, and I took it out of the crate and put it together. and the manual shows either one for replacement

the br8es plugs are resistor plugs, run the b8es plugs

welcome to BHQ a great site for all your banshee needs you need to get them carbs cleaned! if there stock carbs make sure to not get the slides and float bowls mixed up they are different, messure the id on the motor side of the carb to get the size. also I would do a compression test so you know where your at with the motor, anything over 160 needs to be race gas.

check the clutch basket the rivets come loose, or if someone put an aftermarket basket the bolts could be loose.

the rear linkage takes a lot of stress off the rear shock, nice stuff but complicated. I would try getting ahold of one of the suzuki mx teams maybe they have older stuff lying around you could pick up cheap.
