if they are in great shape you might be able to have them honed to fit those pistons. get the specs on them and see how close they are if the wiseco has larger clearances then a hone may fix you up
I wouldn't change them becuase those are two different style of pistons and the clearances will be different. I have run the namura pistons in my blaster with good luck.
my cylinders are still in Kansas getting ported, it should be F.A.S.T when I get them back though. I may have to bum the kids banshee or ride the blaster.
if you going to port them it would be best to get a stock bore or close becuase when they are done porting them they will probably need to be bored again, although wiseco also sells 80 90 100 over pistons for the banshee.
if you want to do 180s you want a strait paddle not the v paddles, the scat trac haulers are the best tire for the sand they hook up the best , but there are other good paddles out there, none compare to the haulers though
welcome to BHQ ! there are a lot of great people on he willing to help with any problem you have. great sponsors too, use them for a peice of mind when buying parts or service
the best thing you can do is port it and ad a cool head, F.A.S.T racing for the port work ,( Alf 44) alfies toy box for the one piece cool head . they are both site sponsors. you won't be sorry theese are the best two mods for the money and power
that sucks, but I think that those scratches are from not enough piston clearance looks like piston seize to me, I've run K&N filters for years with no problem but you always need outer wears on them, Good luck with the new motor hope it goes ok.
the case halfs are machined to match each other, you need to use the matching case halfs together or things don't lineup properly. I'm not saying it can't be done but it won't be the rite way to do it.
