  1. 20hp will just make you hungry for more! I have only rode my ported 4mill for one weekend and already want more!
  2. wont hurt it to run the race fuel if your guage is rite, but no need,If it is supposed to run on 110 only it should have over 150 psi of compression, are you sre you guage is good? port work does not make a comp test any different to do, one plug in,throttle wide open, and kick until guage stops climbing.
  3. the pilot jet is what you are talking about, I think and it does thread out.
  4. the timed distance is 100ft the hill is about 175ft and it is steep and we started with our back wheels on the hill not the flat, it is powder sand
  5. run the hill climb this past weekend I finished 4th in my class and I had to back out twice to set the front end down. my F.A.S.T agressive dune port 4 mill runs great. and my 2" swing arm was not enough to keep the front down.
  6. welcome to BHQ ! ditch the boost bottle they do nothing and get in the way of the fuel lines and crack the carb boots. a timing plate is a good mod, pipes,a good airfilter and get rid of the air box lid, a coolhead with smaller domes or have the stock head milled, get rid of the tors they are problems. a good set of reeds.
  7. thats cool, I'm entering the climb, I just got my F.A.S.T racing 4mill agressive dune port motor running
  8. am I the only michigan guy going to climb with an atv?
  9. I got it running so I'm in the hill climb woohoo
  10. looks good I wish I could weld that good
  11. yeah we are going to silverlake for the hillclimb sept 11 &12

  12. anyone going?
  13. take it to a local yamaha dealer they can pull it off for $5 or so,or order a puller site sponsors have them for about $15 to $20 then you'll have one
  14. that is a great job, looking good. post more pics when done. I like the theme, it's original.
  15. I hear ya, I do to but not everyone can. and not everyone needs the best they just need something that works good.
  16. talk to the guy doing your port work he can recomend the style for you, who is doing your port work? I would go with a site sponsor all of them are good and well known so you get what you paid for. I went with F.A.S.T racing! do you have a head that you can change domes in or a stock head? those heavy wheels are eating up a lot of horsepower!
  17. some people don't have a ton of money to throw at their banshee all the time and have to make sacrifices! you can't be a true banshee rider if you let life get in the way of riding!
  18. a few friends and I are going, is anybody else? if I get my motor done and broke in I'm going to enter
  19. I spray my base gaskets with copper coat, not the head gasket, and yes it does come apart a little harder but they don't leak or blow out maybe a radiator shop could silversolder a small patch on for you?
  20. I ported the reed cage and put boysen two stage reeds in my blaster and noticed a good power gain. if your on a budget port the cages
  21. maybe they had exhaust temp sensors in them?
  22. that is a stock head use the factory gaskets the second to last pic is the flywheel you need to take the nut of in the center then use a puller made for a banshee to pull it off dont pry and use a hammer or the wrong puller,or you will damage the flywheel. the last pic is the clutch you need to remove the 6 bolts in the circle with the spings under the not the center one, then under the stuff that comes out there is one big nut you take off to remove the rest of the clutch.
  23. I think I'm going to enter the hill climb this time. it is sept 11 and 12 should be fun I used to enter it with my sand rail it was a blast
  24. thats a good thing, one less headache to deal with
