  1. powersedge.com has pictures of the oem parts for the carbs i think thoes plastic things are splash sheilds i have mest with four sets of stock carbs if you put the slides in backwerds it will run like crap . you can go 2 1/2 turn out on the air screws to lean out the idle mixture a hair 3 turn out is the max or raise the needle clip one to lean the mixture witch effects the 1/8 to 3/4 throttle mixture.the choke crosover tube must be on between the carberators .how is the compression
  2. do a compression check sounds like it was overheated and possibly warped the head and worn rings.
  3. could be a cooked clutch plates .
  4. i would say wsm smokes the competition
  5. you need that plastic shield in there that is why it is running rich , you need to look for that plastic shield.
  6. You can go to www.team-rpm.com they sell the tapered set for stock carriers for 75$ for the banshee.
  7. the cable and jets mite be different . and the keihins are better built and last longer.
  8. same thing happened to me i replaced everything it could be a melted wire in the harness.
  9. I seen those in a aluminum carrier kit someplace or you have to go to napa.
  10. split the cases and pull the crank see if its welded it may be shot. ware is the kids resets for the parts .it wont turn over without a spacer plate either.
  11. you need to tell us Wat mods you have done to your banshee you sound very lean to me or your compression is not high enough . its best to take it easy on a new engine for the first 7 tanks off gas and not load up the engine.i have over fifty hours on mine and it runs like new .see what your compression is first.130psi is on a stock engine.and no less than 10psi difference between the two is safe.
  12. the shout box sucks for all off use or am i wrong

  13. and don't let some no it all ride your banshee like myself and blow the engine lol.
  14. Ive had two set of new stock carbs new sent to me and the flouts were bent and smashed i had to use the old ones and got lucky good luck getting them strait don't burn up your engine get a pro shop to get them rite for you or go to a set of keihins who don't seem to be assembled buy some down syndrome turds. and those flouts have to be rite on . good luck doing it yourself.it happened to my brother and he burnt his new engine up in a heart beat.
  15. wsm is the lightest. vito's super stock are the heaviest bullet proof. The older style vito's power pistons are in the middle of the two.I would use pro lites on a stocker with the crank welded with stock ports. It is best to let the pro builder use the rite pistons or you could fry your engine.good luck with it.
