  1. d slid carbs are the way to go I love my air strikers 35s silky smooth response. stock carbs are great tell they get stuck wide opened from the ware on the slides.
  2. if your crossover tube falls of for the choke it will cause that also it may be a air leek spray some Carib cleaner on the garbs when the engine is cold and running to see if the engine revs up a bit. don't hurt to do a compression check ether.
  3. vito's sells those 100 bucks yesterday i seen one like that was +4 looked the same they look week.
  4. you must remove the plate cover behind the clutch it holds the cases and bearing together. it will snap in half if you don't.
  5. my Mr gasket import 16psi thermocap started to bleed coolant today but it works fine no big deal looks cooler green inside it must be the vibration time will tell.never seen it get hotter than 150 deg.
  6. to hot for my ride i would jet up richer and cary some extra plugs . or hook up a fan to the radiator.
  7. i would weld a drill new holes.and some longer lug nuts like mine.

  10. alky will be a grey cooler on the plug compared to a gas engine ive herd but i never used it in a engine.
  11. hope its not less than a 10 psi defrence it wont run with less than 90 psi. good luck breakin it in.

  13. i would go with a welded stock stroke hot rod crank.
  14. i have my timing set @ +10 now and it has good top end still wrenching wile i ride.and wating for my big bore cpi's to show up.i have the older power pistons wich are lighter than there new one's dont want to crack them running +12 on the timing,good luck tuning.

  16. probley the stock crank and piston rings are shot .I have a spare engine that needs about 4 grand worth of work & parts needed to be done to it .nice to have a spare when the start to run rough.
  17. black oil and stock clutch springs suck . i like the yamaha trans gear oil with heavy clutch spring . my oil stays clean and my clutch dont slip unless i feather the clutch.

  19. i would have some pro shop do a miner port job your compression shoud be around 150 psi . athena pistons only make like 55 hp they say . i use pump gas on my vitos 421 . i just need some big bore pipes my t5s choke my top end
  20. 100% stock engine with super stock piston will run to hot and loose compression you have to raise the intake ports and exaust 4mm and run 35 pilot vito needle and 340 main. +4 timing aftermarket pipes
