  1. I figured out the new stator was wired wrong. We had tochange two wires in the plug. So if anyone buys a stator from RM stator, be sure and check that the wires are in the right place.
  2. Thanks but I found out the problem was that the new stator I bought was not wired right in the connector plug.
  3. I need a harness for a 94 Banshee. I need to stay under $80.
  4. Nope the TORS is long gone. I'm gonna go test all the new parts with my meter and see if they sent me a bad part. Other than that I think it might be a bad wire somewhere.
  5. I'm getting tired of buying parts for my damn Banshee!! I just bought a new flywheel, stator and coil because my flywheel broke and took out my stator. When it happened it shorted out the stator and it smelled burnt. I instaled all the parts and still am getting no spark, so I put on another CDI still no spark. I checked my kill switch with my meter and is working. What else could it be? I thought I covered everything that has anything to do with making spark? HELP PLEASE!!!
  6. At least I would like to know what the plastic piece is that the main jet it screwed into. On the parts diagram it calls it a ring.
  7. anybody? I could really use some input! I'm getting really frustrated with this thing!
  8. Can anyone tell me if the plastic piece that is under the main jet has to be there? One carb has it the other doesn't. Right now I'm fouling plugs as soon as I start it up and only one cylinder is getting hot. It smokes pretty good while idling. The motor was just completely rebuilt and it runs strong untill the plug fouls. The carb that is missing the plastic piece it the one not getting hot. I'm getting really frustrated can someone please help! I have toomey T-5's, open air box, ported head and vforce reeds. Main jet is 340 and pilot is 25.
  9. I am looking at buying 65mm pistons but I am not sure how much the stock cylinders can be bored. Right now they measure 64.5mm but they need cleaned up. Can anyone tell me if I would be o.k. boring to 65mm?
  10. I need the needle and seats for my Shee but everywhere I look you have to buy the whole carb kit. The only place I found just the needle and seat the price was twice as much as the whole kit. I'm trying to go as cheap as possible I've allready spent too much rebuilding the motor. Anybody know a cheap place to get them?
  11. Thanks man I called him now it's on it's way there.
  12. surely somebody here knows about Banshee cranks
  13. I found the service manual.
  14. I just bought a Shee in pieces and am going to rebuild it. I bought a used crank off ebay but noticed that the space between the rods and the counter weights are different on the two sides. Can I close the gap with a press or how can I fix the problem? Also does any one know where I can dowload a free service manual? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
