I have been on the rockymountain site, and the jets that they are selling didnt look like the mikuni jets at all, and they didnt have the specs on them for sizing? What size, and brand are the carbs your selling Crash? What size jets do you have?

Anyone know if Burgard a arms are any good? Ive found a set locally and the guys selling them pretty cheap after a part out. Theyre made of 4130 chromemoly tubing, theyre +2+1 , powdercoated black , $300 comes with new bushings and tie rods. Will my stock length TCS ressies fit?

Sounds kinda like mine. Ive been told to start with the mixture screw, if thats a no go, then move to the pilot jet, thats what controls the motor at idle to 1/4 throttle. Mine was running like a top when id get it above 1/4 throttle, but sluggish and boggy before that. I thought it was running lean, but the plugs were black, but not wet.

You are absolutely in need of a haynes or a clymer manual for your bike. It made a huge difference in my understading of my bike, plus the members here too of course.

OK, I know that there have been a million posts about jetting on here, but never one from me asking for advice, so here it is. I have an 01 banshee, that I bought blown up, and have rebuilt it. I was OK at first with a lot of stock stuff on the bike, but now I am adding some aftermarket items, for some more UMPHHH. The bike always used to start first or second kick, until I installed a modquad intake. Now it takes 5-6 kicks, and it seems really sluggish on the bottom end, and wont idle at all? Here are my specs 250 ' above sea level 2001 banshee stock 26mm carbs modquad billet intake Pro Flow sponge style filter with outerware no lid on the airbox + 4 timing pro circuit platinum pipes vitos crank, and rods 67mm wisecos vitos hemi head w 20 cc domes running BR8ES plugs Presently running 300 jets, with the needle on the middle setting, and the compression was at 135lbs in both cylinders before the weekend. Any thoughts?

Apparently, Im missing a small 90 degree vent fitting that fits in beside case hole # 16. I have made arrangements on 2 seperate occasions to get this from a member, and both times, .........well lets just say here I am again. The dealership wants to sell me all sorts of piping and breathers that i already have, and definitely dont need 2 of. Anyone got one?

Just so you know, I bought the style of billet pipe clamp that the two exhaust halfs slide into with pressure, no allen bolts or anything, and they leak the black oily shit onto my cases, just so you know anyway. I replaced the o rings as well, no help.

Ive been dinged a couple of times, but never really hard. If you get the sender to gift it, it sometimes helps, if theyre willing. I shipped an oversized tank to papasmurf, that was $50+ for the ship, but expected. Nine times outta ten there is no duty, but when it does happen, I curse just the same.
