  1. Is the motor for sale?
  2. PM sent, oh and that makes them .40 over.
  3. They take a tonne of time to bleed, if you dont use the bleeder. I, by trial and error, was doing it the normal way, until I got frustrated, then I closed the bleed screw, opened up the ressie, and pumped the lever 20-30 times without opening the bleed screw, then I open it up and did it normally and its worked all 3 times. The cylinder that pumps the fluid must be like 1/10th of 1ml, thats why it takes so long. Hope this helps
  4. You could have sold it by now and have your coin if youd just get me a shipping quote! Not sure why youre so paranoid about shipping it, its me who covers the costs?
  5. I started a year and a half ago, by buying my wife a 125 to get her used to the gears and brakes etc...... Once she got comfy with that, she started asking to go more and more. Now she bugs me every weekend to go. I took her last weekend to a buddys farm, where we just built a track, to try a quad for the first time, and she loved it. For months she has been calling me a traitor cause I sold my KX 250 to buy my shee. This past weekend, she got it! She said that she would ( although sad about it) consider selling the 125 for a deposit on a quad. I think a blaster for now should suffice! Although I get the whole privacy thing with your buds, I too think its a fantastic thing to be able to share with your wife or girlfriend. Kudos to you for introducing her to something new, hell my wife even put on skintight rubber pants to go fly fishing with me. No Loco, you cant have pics, Ive heard about your collection! lol!
  6. PM sent, lets make this happen!
  7. You need to clean out your inbox, it wont allow new messages. Could you send me pics, my email is [email protected]? I have a clean set of a arms to trade. They aren't perfect, they do have a few paint chips etc.... but they will come with all good condition dust caps as well. I would still be using them if I hadnt bought new a arms
  8. Bump for an indestructable skid plate. I think its an armadillo, and those bad boys are sooooooooo tough.
  9. What so you shouldnt jump a j arm? The reason I ask is my buddy just bought a j arm for $750, and so were gonna fix it up a LOT. Not worth it though if theyre just gonna bend.
  10. Im in line on that motor, and Im in Whitby, ON. PM sent

  19. I had to do exactly the same with the 2 Burgard ball joints, as I did with the automotive ball joints. The threads for both sets are the xact same. I reamed the spindles for the 10mm pins, but the 14mms threaded right in.
  20. Ill vouch for yah dude! I bought my cylinders off Shakar, and they haul ass!
  21. X2, Im with Radar. I had one hell of a time bleeding the rear and the fronts last weekend, took forever, but it did eventually bleed correctly.
  22. That shock is mine, and Im proud to say that it looks twice as good on my bike as it does on Matts wifes new living room carpet. Great communication, great shipping to me here in Canada, Thanks again.
  23. So, I had waited for my ball joints to come in for 2 weeks before I called them to find out when they were coming. Nobody got back to me for 10 days, then a random email "Ill look into this, and call you back" (owner, or something). Then I heard nothing, so I emailed them twice, asking what was going on? After 2 further weeks of waiting, I took NYUK's advice and purchased the correct HD heim/ ball joint from NAPA. One day after I installed them, a package comes to the door, with my Burguard ball joints in it. I check my Visa account, no charges from them. All in all, horrible to have zero communication skills, but they made good for a great set of spares, Thanks.
  24. See thats exactly what Im talking about. The fact that you have to ask about them in the first place screams to me "use a professional ! Im not trying to be a dick, Im just saying that the cylinders as a whole are pretty important, if you want to experiment, try maybe porting your reed cages or something, something more simple. Leave the technical jargin to these guys. Youve got 2 well respected veterans, and then me telling you the same thing.
  25. I know nothing about porting a cylinder, but I do know that there are guys on here who specialize in those sorts of practices. Dont chance screwing up your cylinders by experimenting with them. Send them to someone who knows how. JMO!
