  1. Anyone? Help a guy out.
  2. Just need a stock clutch cover. Don't need any of the other covers like the center plate or waterpump housing cover. I would need it shipped to me asap so I can get it to powder. Let me know your bottom dollar shipped to 66062.
  3. Looking for a steering stabilizer. Let me know if you have one you would be interested in getting rid of.
  4. Thanks again steve. Great buyer by the way. Let me know if I can ever help you out or if you need anything else. Glad I could help!
  5. Look into a serval 4 mill. I know jeff at farm and sand toys sells them in kits and Herr juggs racing as well. I just put a 4mill in mine with a play/dune port and holy shit you want to talk about difference. I am running stock carbs right now with pro circuit pipes and it has plenty of torq. I am upgrading the carbs next and I don't see why I couldn't get 80 + hp with a few other mods.
  6. Got a set of stock tie rods with ball joints
  7. I have stock head studs. Shoot me an offer.

  13. I am in need of after market head lights. Let me know what you got.
  14. May want to consider a Billet Clutch basket if you are going with a 4 mill.
  15. Port work maybe? Only thing I can think of. Not sure how port work on a 4 poke compairs to port work on a 2 stroke power wise. I would imagine that porting a 2 stroke would create a larger power difference.
  16. I will sell you two OEM Bolts for $10 shipped!!

  18. Like I said before. I run Engine Ice for coolant ( take a look at the coolant when you drain your motor to see if you can notice anything that would cause your issue). I would change the tans oil as well. This is another debate on here as well, but I run ATF Type F which you can find at any autoparts store. And for 2 stoke oil, I run Klotz super techniplate at 32:1. There are a lot of different types of oils and coolants to run, so do some searching on the forum for further info if you like. I have not had any issues with the fluids I put in my bike and I am sure others use the same. There is a lot of conversation on here about what to use though so read the threads to gain more knowledge.
  19. I am sure others will chime in, but I would take a look at all the suspension such as bushing and such and replace all the fluids.
  20. That's a different story... ha ha. A lot of people on here prefer different oils. I run Klotz super techniplate (RED). Good luck and make sure to ask questions if you don't know about something. Better to make sure than to be sorry. Welcome to BHQ, glad to have ya!
  21. You put a fresh plug in after the motor is warmed up. Run it WOT (I run it through 4th if not 5th.) Once you get through all the gears, shut the bike off and coast to a stop and pull the plug out replacing it with the old one to get back to the garage. Then cut the threads off and look at the smoke ring. You want it about as think as a dime. here is a pic of one I did, I am running a tad rich. The thinner you are the leaner the thicker the richer you are.
  22. You have to take your carbs off and then the bowls. There are two jets in there and the size is stamped on the jet its self.
  23. You should be okay with the plugs, I could be wrong and would have to take a look and see what I am running. You are close to the same elevation as me and chances are your jets are okay but I would still look at them to know for sure. I would do a plug chop as well. Replacing the gaskets on the exhaust will not help the coolant issue. I would flush the system and see what comes out of it and replace the fluid with engine ice. Like said before, you could have a bad cap or it could be a broken coolant impeller.
  24. I run BR8ES on my 4 mil which is a hotter plug than the BR9ES i ran on stock cyl. As for being rich or lean, you need to do a plug chop to make sure you are dialed in right. The color of the tip of the plug isn't an accurate way to know. What is your elevation and what jets are you running? I know you may have not looked into this, but I was running a 340 main and 25 pilot on stock jugs with a bit of port clean up and pro circuit pipes with K&N pods. As for the leak around the exhaust pipe, just replace the gaskets in the exhaust pipes and put new springs on and that should solve your problem. You can get those parts at a Yamaha dealer or from our site sponsors. as for air leaks, make sure there is no cracks in your intake boots and everything is tightened to specs. When checking compression, the better the gauge the more accurate the reading.
  25. Sounds like a good deal to me, I haven't seen it though. I would check for air leaks and comp. Inspect the intake boots. Does it have a boost bottle? I would get rid of that.
