I think the Maxxis RAZR tire have sizes for a 10' rim. I run the Maxxis RAZR 6 ply and is the best trail tire i have run by far. The Hole shots are a bit soft and wear quicker than the maxxis. You should hit up alf on this one. he has great prices. If its a trail bike stick to the 9' rim for more tire options. The ones on FAST website are good trail tires. The lugs on those tires look aggressive, plus the tires are hella cheap. Im going to order those for my YFZ soon.

Throttle is too light..TOO LIGHT!
FrankieSquid replied to 09BansheeUAE's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Clymers manual is a good investment and will save you money and your engine in the long run. You can do some serious damage to 2 strokes if you don't rejet when you have to. Like said before when adding more air or mods that add more air in an out of the engine you have to rejet to compensate for the added flow, so by rejetting you add more fuel to equation. There lots of post in the exhaust and jetting forum that can help you out. Get a clymers manual too. -
Man why do you Hq'ers get so worked up over shyt like this. This lil fuck thinks he has balls like king kong just because he has a 500 between his little legs. People like that is all they do is run their mouth.

When i did my brothers blaster i had it blasted primered and painted. I suggest you use a lot of clear coats to protect it from the elements. If you really have to paint make sure you prep it as far as blasting it to bare metal. No matter how well you do this paint will still end up chipping off especially where the swing arm is. The frame holds up really well. Where it's exposed where dirt and rock will be flying the paint will eventually start to chip. Using a few coats of good quality clear should help you out.

Where i live i usually ride trails. I recently bought another one at a cheap price and completely rebuilding it for my girl. Im looking to get a YFZ soon.

You know what bro, Pictures is one thing and riding it is a whole different other. When i bought my second shee i tried to find one as stock as possible and with the least mods as possible. If the few mods it does have suits for the type of riding your gonna do then shoot for it. You really have to check it out at the heart of the beast. Take a compression tester and test both cylinders (lots of post on how to do this). you have to test ride it to see if anything leaks makes any unusual noises and if it steers straight. Look for anything bent especially the frame. Judging the welded a-arm he must have been riding the shit out of it, but who knows. Make sure the shocks function as they should and that theres not too much bounce. The frame looks a bit rusty but that's something powder coat can fix. I like how it has the uncut plastics. If it runs good and has good compression i would go for it. The other shit is just cosmetic and as you said it's dirty. Just check the major components so you can avoid spending more money than you have to. I hope this makes sense. More people on here will eventually jump in on this here and give their opinion. Don't know if this is your first shee or not but welcome to HQ lot's of good people with good info, yet to mention check out the site sponsors on here. They have lot's of mods, accesories and services for your shee to look and run great. I hope this helps. Good luck

removing unnessesary crap on the frame before powder
FrankieSquid replied to Drewski's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
There is a few things you can do to your frame to make it look clean. What i did before it went to PC was remove all the tabs you see in red. I went over some of the welds to smooth them out some. Be careful not to go over them too much because you can fuck up the structural integrity of the weld. Hope this helps bro -

I bought me a set of the small chrome lights from walmart, they are not too bad. They are exactly like the one that GST_R has. With a stock stator you will have to get some 30w bulbs from a home improvement store. They are cheap as hell, look and function really good.

Can I handle 20cc domes on pump gas?
FrankieSquid replied to shogs's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
You should be fine running the 20cc domes, I have seen people run on 19cc domes on pump gas similar to the mods you have. 20cc should be no issue -
If i was you i would take the time and take out your whole harness and cut out the tors bullshit. There is a switch at the thumb throttle and one in each carb just follow the wires and cut them at the harness for a cleaner look. Your going to need to get the TORS removal kit, something cheap on e-bay. TORS is notorious for "no start" issues.

Well my Xmas has started off with a F'n BANG!
FrankieSquid replied to KickStartMyHeart's topic in Roostin' Room
You know what im with you 100% on this one loco. As far as my girl goes i show her respect In everyway you can think of, but there is just somethings you don't fuck around and there's a boundry or thin line so to say when it comes to my shyt. I dont consider my self to be a dick, but a man with bounderies. My girl and i keep shyt in sync and she know better than to fuck with my shit or anything. You have to stand your ground. It's not just because of a shee but my "own" personal shyt in general. I work hard for the things she has and the shyt i have. People just have to grow some man meat under that johnson and put that bitch in check homie. -
Well i just purchased a set of maxxis razr 1's. I changed the original dunlops it had. As far as these go they hook really good. I got the 6ply and they are rugged. grips like hell in the corners and badass out the hole. If were you i hit up ALF44 he can help you out, good prices.

Best place to find MAXXIS RAZR tires?
FrankieSquid replied to FrankieSquid's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Damn Alf44, totally forgot you were a RMATV dealer. I went ahead and ordered from their site. I should expect my tires to come in sometime today. Great prices and fast ass shipping. Next time, which will be real soon i will get at you when i order more things from RMATV -
x2 a soft blow hammer should be good. That's what i had to due when i got my swing arm PC. They have to be all the way inside so it fits snug into the frame. Grease em up too
-
x2 it's a 520 with 104 links for stock swing arm
-
X2 i agree when i first started to ride my thumb was really sore. I got used to it without having to cut my carb springs or anything. Hand held exercisers for the forearm helped me out. LOL. Twist is good for bikes, not for atv's in my opinion

cylinder/head tightening sequence
FrankieSquid replied to BOOZER2009's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
22ft/lbs is fine. -
Just looking to see if anyone know where i can get the MAXXIS RAZR tires at a good price online? Thanks

Just like everyone else, i wouldnt shoot for a 421 cub as trail bike. Them motors are meant to go nowhere else but straight. Their HP gains are in the upper RPM range. You will need something with low to mid RPM Hp. If you are not going to be hitting 6thgear i would not get the 421. To be fast in trails you need a setup, suspension plays a big ass role when it comes to movin in and out of tight trails. They have different porting that will suit your needs.
